To put it simple; I am born and raised in Hoorn, worked in a shop in the citycenter, so don't just know every place, but also know a fair bit of the stories. With maybe the exception of the local 10 day fair in August, this is the place with the best value for money. Rooms are spacious and clean,...

I had to stay overnight in Hoorn during one of my many visits to The Netherlands. This hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the train station which was ideal for me. I had a call from the hotel on the day before i travelled to check my expected arrival time, and even though i arrived an hour earlier than...

This hotel is located in the centre of this beautiful small town approx 30 min North of Amsterdam. The room had a great shower, clean and home made breakfast is served in a seperate dining room. Its about 1 km from train station. The hotel is quiet and unlike the major cities had larger than normal rooms. There is a...

This small hotel is ideally situated in the historic centre of this old town. Very comfortable and friendly and great value. Don`t expect big luxury hotel facilities but it far exceeds the standards of of budget chains, more like a large bed and breakfast.

We booked this because a stay elsewhere had been cancelled. We paid a couple of pounds more for a deluxe room (no 1). We were pleased with the room. The en - suite has some glass in the door to the bedroom which is a little off putting but not something I'd dwell on. The owners are lovely and very...

After we found it we enjoyed our stay. We weren't to excited about the very steep narrow shallow step stairwell but the rooms were large, clean and airy. Don't come in hot weather, because there is no A/C and if you leave the windows open, there is too much street noise to sleep. Fortunately for us the temperature dropped enough before...

The location is great, near to shops, foods, and train station. The room is big, clean, nice decorated, and the bathroom is clean, comfortable, spacious, hairdryer is available in the bathroom. They have a lovely kitchen with dining rooms and lovely backyard with place to sit. The owner is very friendly :)) Will stay here again. :)

The hotel (Bar/Restaurant with rooms really) is ultra clean and very comfortable. Its in lovely setting in the centre of Dokkum and gives simple, walking and easy access to shops and roads. Road side parking is not brilliant and charged, except weekends. Good friendly service. Good continental breakfast. Don't recall seeing a lift and we were on the second floor....

Stayed in this hotel from the 5th to 8th I had a double room all by myself.Although I had no view of the streets which suited me,the room was cosy and clean, the towels changed daily which was really not necessary, but appreciated. Breakfast was the normal continental, boiled egg, cold meats, juice, selection of breads,I would have loved cornflakes but perhaps in this area its...
