We stayed here with the company. It was a good experience. Staff was friendly, rooms clean and the overall feeling was good. We had a good time. Not the best hotel in town but a good one anyway. You will enjoy your stay!

We were in Holland for a few days, for a family gathering, and stayed at the Villa Trompenberg. It may initially seem like a "do-it-yourself" hotel (you feel as if at home) except for the fact that all is perfectly arranged, decorated and organised. Much thought has gone into the systems used, from reservations/registration to lighting, the use of the... More

Very comfortable. Huge double bed. Immense rooms. Pokey WC. Excellent range of breakfast food and drinks. Very quiet. Very convenient parking. Some way to the local restaurants - better to drive and park. Nothing to complain about (except WC and distance from local restaurants)! Very satisfied!

Stayed here because Utrecht was full due to the Tour de France. Was easy to book and communication was excellent. No problem with late access and the room was beautiful, comfortable and well appointed in a very quiet area. The staff / owners were very helpful and polite and let us leave our luggage on the day of departure and... More

I am a Dutch expat living in Brussels and most of my family lives in the Hilversum area. Since 2006 I am frequently staying in Hotel Villa Trompenberg. It is a cherished place for me, which I can fully recommend. The hotel is located in the richest area of Hilversum, near the Media Park, i.e. the offices of the various... More

Absolute must stay hotel. Booked through booking.com and everything went just perfectly. I loved the place and location, close to both Utrecht and Amsterdam. The rooms are spacious with antique furniture of a dark brown stain, very tastefully decorated and the topping on the cake was undoubtedly the fabulous chandelier. The room had French doors which opened to a small... More

We spend our honeymoon in this hotel. It was great! The room (suite) was spacious and well decorated, the badroom was spacious as well and is clean and well equiped. The self service policy in the hotel is well organized. Breakfast buffet is small but delicious and the room where you have your breakfast is relaxing. We enjoyed every minute... More

I've been there in 2013 for almost a week. And up until now I did not find better place to stay. It is small, cozy, family driven hotel where all staff is listening to you. In general, it is like being home, except you do not have to clean and make your breakfast. In the breakfast room (which is apparently... More

A beautiful and nicely decorated hotel, which has its own little garden. The closest train station is around a 15 minute walk away (Hilversum Media Park). You can eat breakfast for 10 euros if you want to include it. Only down side was, that there were no supermarkets near the hotel, so you had to bring groceries from the center... More
