This hotel is very well located in the middle of the centre of Haarlem. You can park your car in the garage next door (paid). My room was a little strange. The shower was hanging from the ceiling and there was so little light in the bathroom that is was difficult to see in the shower with the door closed....

Another good stay at Die Raeckse! The location is EXCELLENT! Just 5 minutes walk to the Grote Market (historic town square), 10 minute walk from train station (which has eight 15 minute trips to Amsterdam per hour!), five minute walk from Bus station - Harrlem Centrum that comes from airport (Bus #300 from 2nd aisle past the taxi rank, pay...

This is a budget hotel just on the outskirts of the town centre. 10 minutes walk from the railway station and 5 minutes walk into the town centre. Small, but clean rooms, toiletries included, friendly staff and a simple but substantial breakfast make this an ideal place to stay away from the bustle of Amsterdam. As others have mentioned, the...

This hotel is in a good location, but the value isn't great for the money. I had a small, comfortable room, but at the front of the hotel, overlooking the street, which is very busy and noisy with multiple trucks pulling up, backing up, beeping, picking up trash, etc, from early morning on. The little restaurant is cute and they...

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and found it OK. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Her English was pretty good too. In our booking, breakfast was extra at 7.50 euro pp. We opted to eat breakfast out so we can't comment on the breakfast. Beware the staircase to the upstairs (no elevator) is very steep and narrow which...

We just stayed here for five nights. It is 8-10 minutes from the blue 300 which gets you to and from the Schipoll airport which runs every 6 minutes during the day. It is also 3-4 minutes from the bus 50 which takes you to the Keukenhoff Gardens or Lieden. Great location. The breakfast is very good and the hostess...

This hotel was perfect for us as we needed to go Amsterdam but didn't want to pay more. The train station was a five minute walk down the road and it was very easy and cheap to get a train into amsterdam. The rooms were very basic but perfect for what we needed, the staff were also very polite and...

The location of this hotel was great; only a 5-10 minute walk to the city center, with a grocery store right across the street and restaurants nearby. The room was older, but very clean. Free breakfast was decent; eggs and pastries, bread, meat and cheeses., and coffee machine. The stairs are indeed as treacherous as other reviewers mentioned, and the...
