Hotel lobby was uniquely decorated with the owners clock collection which was also featured in antiquebahrain magazine. Room was spacious and clean. Although it is not sound proof as I can hear everything sound if the next room. Wifi was free and fast. Breakfast has less variety but service of Evelyn, breakfast attendant was great. We enjoyed the croissant and...

We sleep there during a bicycle tour. The sleeping room was nice but a liitle bit loud (saturday evening). The bicycles have to stay during the night in the atrium - not in a seperate room!! The breakfast the we got in morning was terrible. It was not included in the nightly rate, so I recommend "take" your breakfast somewhere...

This hotel overlooks the church and is seconds from the market square. The location is perfect to spend time in Haarlem. with many restaurants on the doorstep. The room was big and clean and the bed comfortable. The downside is the bathroom which gets flooded just like its sister hotel, The Joops Haarlem is a bit upmarket so expect to...

The hotel is perfectly located for getting to shops, restaurants and enjoying the town. However the room was far too warm as it had no air conditioning and there was a lot of noise from the church bells opposite.

The hotel was very clean, quiet and comfortable, the staff were great and we enjoyed our stay. The location is outstanding!! Right by the city square, across from the cathedral....I highly recommend you see it.... It's incredibly beautiful!! There are restaurants and shopping all within a short walking distance and if you happen to be there on a Saturday, you...

I stayed here on a Friday night at the start of September. The room was really nice and spacious and the hotel serves a good buffet breakfast. However, I didn't get to sleep until after 4am due the really noisy bars on the side street beside the hotel. My bedroom was at this side of the hotel (and was quiet...

We booked this hotel as it was one of the few that catered for a party of 7 (2 adults + 5 children) at the time of booking. The location was perfect as it was in the main square so you could totally enjoy the lovely Haarlem atmosphere. Bedrooms were spacious, comfortable but without air conditioning although a fan was...

My husband and I stayed in the "sister" Joop Hotel. It is in a great location in Grote Market. The town of Haarlem is lively, casual with plenty to do. The hotel was lovely with really friendly staff (the staff were nice from booking all the way through to the end of our stay) great choice of restaurants surrounding, bars,...

This hotel was very confusing. It looks nice from the outside and even in the lobby. When we were checking in, it seemed as though there were lots of other groups having trouble either checking in or checking out. That's never a good sign. We drove, so we had lots of "extras" with us; cooler, beach bags, etc. plus our...

The monumental Ambassador City Centre Hotel is located in the historic heart of the city of Haarlem facing the St. Bavo Church. For city trippers this friendly hotel is an excellent choice. From the hotel, all the fun and interesting attractions can be easily reached. The train station is only a five-minute walk from the hotel. All rooms in the Ambassador City Centre Hotel*** are non-smoking. The stylish rooms are all marked by their unique interiors. A number of rooms also have a gorgeous view of the St. Bavo Church. The other rooms are at the rear of the hotel where you can rest peacefully in the heart of the city. Because of our unique location we are not allowed to offer our own parking facilities or discounts. In the hotel's surroundings there are public parking facilities available at an additional charge. We recommend parking in parking garage 'Appelaar' about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Ambassador City Centre Hotel guarantees you an atmospheric stay in an ambiance in which you will feel at home immediately. The hotel offers all facilities you need for a weekend away or a long stay, for a leisure or a business trip.
