The couple that runs Malts treat you like an honored guest. Lovely modern rooms, ample private baths, fresh squeezed orange juice and a huge number of breakfast options provided. WIFI that works great! (a commodity when traveling) Needed help booking travel arrangements and planning our day trips and these two took care of everything making the whole trip to Haarlem...

Perfect in every way. I cannot say enough about the friendliness of the owners. The accommodations were large, very bright, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The location is perfect. They also provide an honor bar with great drink options at reasonable prices...so convenient.

First time in Haarlem and two nights at Malts Hotel. It just couldn't be better. Large, comfortable rooms, well appointed and furnished with flair. A superb central location on a pedestrianized street - handy for exploring Haarlem. An excellent, breakfast with fresh fruit and good coffee. Friendly, helpful but not intrusive hosts. Very highly recommended.

Fantastic, welcoming hosts. Great quality rooms and facilities. Breakfast was terrific with freshly squeezed juice and fresh great coffee made to order, not to mention the fantastic cheese. Location was sensational close to all restaurants and bus stops. Steep stairs only problem if you have mobility issues. Would return tomorrow if I could!. Thank you for a great stay.

The B & B Malts hotel is a wonderful place stay. It is clean, modern, well decorated, good value for money, central for shops and bars, not too far away from station and run by a wonderfully friendly and helpful couple. We were welcomed with a nice coffee and given some great hints on what to see in Haarlem -...

There is one, and only one, bad thing about Malts - 31 steep stairs to get to reception & more to negotiate if your room is on a higher floor! If you have trouble climbing stairs you will, sadly, not be able to enjoy a stay here. Now that's done, I can get on with the good stuff. The bottom...

Henk & Annemarie are the epitome of great hosts. We felt like we were saying with close friends. Haarlem is such a gem (wonderful restaurants, craft beers, museums, canal tour by Jeroen) and B&B Malts is the perfect springboard for your Dutch adventures. Amsterdam is 15-30 minutes away by train or bus. The coast is reachable by bike (available for...

Haarlem is a 30 minute train ride from Amsterdam with some of the same charm and architecture. This B&B was recently re-modeled. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. The owners were very up beat and charming and so willing to help us with what we should see and do while in Haarlem. It's centrally located just down...

One can only wonder where Henk and Annemarie gets the energy and the drive to do what they do best- consistent hospitality all year around! The cleanliness of the rooms and the fabulous beds hide this gem once again making you think that you home away from home. As I wanted to see the Tour de France start in Utrecht...
