You could not be welcomed more friendly. Staff in the evening and in the morning wer amazingly customer friendly. An very pleasant surprise. Unfortunately the rooms are not a pleasant surprise. The bed was old, bed linnen poor quality and cleanliness doubtful. For one night you'll survive, but not recommended for a longer stay.

Clean room, nice spacious bathroom, exceptional breakfast, just next to the train station of Den Helder. First impression really bad, since you have to walk up some stairs to the reception through a cinema entrance. Although generally old, impression changes when meeting the really friendly stuff in the reception. Would go again if to had to spend a night or...

Arrival at the reception was prompt and efficient. The staff were very helpful and willing to accomodate the needs of the persons accompanying me. The hotel is within easy reach of all amenities and being central allowed a pleasant stay. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room the bar supplied a good service. The rooms were very clean...

My bike tour took me to Den Helder where I stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The hotel is very basic and in need of renovations or something. The hallways on floor 4 just looked institutional and in need of a remodel. The staff were great! The food was nice but I thought over priced given other places I eat...

I stayed there for one night. Parking is possible but a walk away, for late arrivals with an dparture before 9.00 hrs it is free. You will have to go up the stairs to get to the reception. The reception holds a small elevator for 3 persons. The room is basic and clean, the bed is good. Breakfast was above...

I stay in Den Helder regularly, usually only for a night and my first choice is always the forest hotel. The location is very convenient since it is only a couple of minutes walk from the train station and literally only a couple of doors away from a supermarket (Albert Heijn) as well as a small shopping center. The staff...

This small hotel is disguised as an office building and camouflaged by a cinema. They share the building which could not be more convenient for the traveler on foot or bicycle. It faces the town central plaza and park, across the street from the train terminus. There are restaurants and shops all around. The hotel is on the second through...

I have stayed in the forest hotel a couple if times now and it's a perfect hotel for people who work in the area. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the rooms are ok. The cinema is in the same building which is good if you fancy watching a film. I would recommend this hotel especially if your travelling for...
