Villa Nicola is a delight! Werner is the ideal host - thoughtful, tasteful and very welcoming. The B&B is gorgeous while also very comfortable. Breakfast amazing, we looked forward each morning. The property is quiet, away from the busy tourist hub but walkable to all the attractions. Kees is a heart-stealer.

This is the best hotel experience I have ever had. The location is perfect, there is a well priced parking garage steps away, the rooms are comfortable, well stocked with personal touches, the breakfast is top notch and the owner is a true local with great recommendations and connections in the city. Oh, and his dog is adorable. I cannot think of anything that needs to be improved. He made us amazing coffees with local treats at check in and offered a personal introduction to the city. He had great food and shopping recommendations and the breakfast was spectacular! Oh and the bed and pillows are very comfortable (that’s a big thing for me!) I never plan to stay anywhere else in Amsterdam!

The best accomodation we have stayed anywhere. If we had not left our Urban Suite doing our 6 night stay we would have been entirely happy. Not a thing to fault. Werner’s styling of the rooms, breakfast, friendly chats and assistance certainly made this a fabulous stay.

This is one of the Wonderful B&B in Amsterdam. Spacious room, beautiful decoration, a modern bathroom. Wonderful part is the owner Werner who makes us a very enjoyable in Amsterdam. Right from helping picking up luggage, prepare everyday rich breakfast, arranging whatever your need. Werner is an amazing host. Perhaps the best I’ve seen yet.

Werner is an amazing host and has a beautifully decorated Town House, he met us on arrival with his gorgeous dog Kees. I stayed in the Urban Suite, very luxurious decor, felt more like a 5* hotel suite, but with a more personal touch with a Nepresso coffee machine, chocolates and Nougat put out every day. Werner was so helpful and friendly, breakfast was to die for, nothing was too much trouble for him. I will be returning and would recommend this place to anyone one who wants a touch of luxury when visiting Amsterdam.

We had an unbelievable stay at Villa Nicola. We stayed in the Urban Suite and it was perfect from the moment we arrived. Werner, Villa Nicolas’ owner, is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are styled beautifully and has everything you need. Werner leaves beautiful chocolates and water in your room each day. The breakfast in the morning is amazing. Fresh orange juice, coffee, pastries, meat, bread, and eggs if you wish. There are bikes and passes to local museums available, for free. We didn’t want to leave this truly five star BnB, I wish there were more Villa Nicolas around the world! Thank you Werner for such a wonderful stay!

We have just returned from a City Break in Amsterdam and stayed in this fabulous B& B. The accommodation is well laid out with spacious bedroom, sitting area and fully refurbished bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Everything was immaculate and furnished with an eclectic mix of decoration and ornaments. The breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice and we were able to choose exactly when we ate. The house is central and you can walk to most of the attractions very easily. Werner the host was warm, welcoming and very interesting and made our stay complete. We Cannot recommend Villa Nicola highly enough.

Already home but my husband and I are still raving about our stay. Werner's love for this home shines through in every inch of the place, and the way he makes his guests feel welcome. No breakfast time is too early or too late. Hearty laughs around the breakfast table before we start our day. Exceptional (and value for money) resto recommendations from Werner. Perfect location - close to the museums, the canals, public transportation, and a fabulous supermarket. What jet-lag? I have never slept better with the high-end sheets and relaxing toiletries that Werner provides. There are many luxury stays (and you need to pay bajillions for) but THIS! THIS is true value for money and the template of what luxury should look and feel.
