Lesley goes out of her way to accommodate your needs and provided us with excellent advice for access to various exhibitions etc. Her culinary experience shines through from the generous delicious breakfasts through to advice on local dining options. Location is perfect and easy walks in neighbourhood were enjoyable in this quiet, safe district peppered with antique shops. Spacious light...

The area that this bed and breakfast is in is so convenient for visiting the museums. The neighbourhood is very quiet, very pretty but close to a variety of restaurants. The No 4 tram delivers you easily from Central station. Lesley, the host, is extremely helpful with advice and suggestions. The breakfasts are delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Aemstelhuys B and B during our first trip to Amsterdam! Of note were the wonderful breakfasts and the charming neighborhood. Thank you to Lesley for going "gluten free" for me. Max is still talking about the toasted brioche with butter! Chatting with the other guests, and hearing multiple languages spoken during breakfast was a...

I booked Amstelhuys for a long weekend with my partners and as a gift for my parents. I can't fault any part of our stay. B and B The B and B is a traditional Amsterdam house which adds to your holiday experience. The house is well decorated, looked after and clean. The breakfast offer is great with some healthy...

We stayed 4 nights with Lesley at her bed and breakfast, in the middle level room. We had a king size bed as well as a sofa and comfy chair. The private bathroom is a few steps up ( watch your head!) with lovely natural light. I arrived from the train station without my suitcase which had been stolen from...

The location alone makes this B&B an excellent choice, but adding a charming hostess and breakfasts to die for make this place exceptional. Then add the most comfortable beds that are perfect if you've just arrived in Amsterdam and are jet-lagged. Top rating.

Lesley is a generous and interesting Hostess providing genuine hospitality in her 'monument listed' 4 tiered home. Our twin bedded room is located on the 4th level. Reaching the top of the narrow, steep, staircase we found ourselves in a cosy loft with fresh tulips, coffee machine, and small 'bay window' sitting are. Breakfast is an indulgent affair including either...

The Aemstelhuys B & B is a short tram ride from the train station and is very easy to find. We stayed in the upstairs room in the main house area. It was lovely and very clean. Yes. An attractive traditional dutch building. Beautifully presented but beware that does mean very steep staircases. Lesley is very welcoming and can advise about almost anything. Lovely breakfasts with some personal touches.
