3 nights at the Hotel V and we left delighted and in love with the people and the place. The hotel staff were knowledgeable and cheerful; eager to help. Our room, tucked away in the eaves, was unique and playful. The included breakfast was a perfect start to the day, enough to fill and get us going in the day.... More

They advertise as being HIP and I wouldn't disagree. Black painted interiors, up to date and modern finishes in the bathrooms but the size of the standard double room was ridiculous!! You could barely get around the bed. If you dared to bring a suitcase you had to get on the bed to get past it. (and I am not... More

I stayed at the V for the weekend of my wedding anniversary with my hubby and we both loved it. Like an idiot I put all my spending money in my savings account and got to Holland unable to access the money but the staff were great. We called my dad (can't live with them, cant live without them) and... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Hotel V for 4 nights last week and loved it. It seemed like such a perfect place to stay when in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. We wanted to give a shout out to the lovely Jan who was so welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, we got a map of the city... More

Been staying in Hotel V quite a while now! What a perfect place to be to enjoy Amsterdam. Expect to be greeted by the most renowned Mr Jan as you enter, seemingly legendary character with wizard like knowlodge of the city. Most of the staff are equally clued up for all great places in town especially if you get the... More

I only stayed for one night. Check in was easy. Breakfast was lovely. The room was gorgeous with a window (4th floor). Warning: the lift is teeny tiny, but the stairs are spacious if you have big luggage. I will definitely go back when I have more time. I fully recommend renting one of their bikes and cruising the city.... More

We just came home from a 3 nights stay at Hotel V in Amsterdam. We picked this hotel because of the great reviews and because of the location. Right next to the tram line and in walking distance (15 min) from Rembrandtplein. We booked a large room, but it was still very small. However we only slept in the room... More

Its a great trendy hotel, in a great location. However under NO circumstances do you want to stay in the rooms in the basement (rooms 6 through 9). They are underneath the restaurant and so you hear people walking above you all morning starting at 6:30am. And they are below the bar and across from the public restrooms so you... More

I spent 3 nights in hotel V Frederiksplein and it made a good impression on me. It is located almost in the city center close to some of the major Amsterdam atractions (in the walking distance + tram stop just in front of the hotel). Hotel V itself is very clean, friendly and trendy place for people who do not... More
