the hotel was really easy to find and right on a few tram lines straight into the centre of the city. we stayed in a room on the top floor which was very individual with the beams of the roof. the bed was amazing - very big, comfortable and very warm. breakfast was of very good quality and lots of...

Staying at Hotel V was a marvelous experience. You have got to credit the apty-friendly and hospitable staff. The entire atmosphere is chilled out. It's a hotel that's basically not a hotel in the sense that in my view it's not a typical hotel where you just go sleep after a busy day. It is a place to meet new...

The hotel is very well located. You can walk everywhere. From the train station you can take the tram nº4 and it leaves you just in front of the hotel. Staff is very nice. The room had a good size and the mattress is very comfortable. The lobby is a perfect spot to relax with the fire and the free...

Room is so tiny that we can't even open our bags! Reception gave us a free drink which was lovely. Bed had an annoying bed that creaked every time I breathed! When I finished showering I was standing on the toilet. An interesting and uncomfortable stay.

The hotel is OK. Everything about it is OK. Not great. Not bad. OK. The location is OK. Halfway between de Pijp/Amsterdam Zuid and the Center. You cancatch the 4 or 25 tram to the Center just outside the hotel. But the general area around the hotel is just OK. Not great. Not bad. OK The rooms are OK. I...

I have never written a review before but my stat at the Hotel V was so unpleasant, I can't let it pass. I arrived in the evening. My room was not in the main building but in a detached building to the back of the main hotel that felt more like a youth hostel. The room was freezing cold when...

It has small rooms, but you feel at home with the excellent service! You wake up, find reviews with the free wifi or lobby internet, have an excellent breakfast from 7 till 11 and they ask you what do you want of Amsterdam: tourism, coffeehouse, museums, bar, fashion restaurant, live like a local... Afterwords, you arrive, stay a while in...

The hotel is too expensive for the services it offers. The room is very cold. We complained and they just ignored us. The room (standard double) is really tiny and it doesn't even have a chair. It is relatively clean, but not enough for 130 euros/night. The breakfast was poor and low quality: no fresh orange juice, horrible fruits etc....

Stayed at Hotel V for a long weekend in October. The hotel is very stylish, with a lovely lobby/bar area, but the rooms are very small - almost uncomfortably so. We couldn't help but think the designer had been a little greedy trying to cram so many rooms into such a small space. The service was patchy - we found...

Quite central hotel with modern styled rooms. Positive: - free Wifi - quite central, 10 minutes by tram from Dam - tram station right in front of hotel - good breakfast - friendly - nice bathroom and shower with very large showerhead ("rainforest shower") - modern styled - flatscreen tv negative: - I had to stay in a "souterrain"-room (i.e....
