found the hotel easily from web directions. It was stylishly designed with attention to detail. Room was very comfortable, although a slightly odd shape! Breakfast was lovely and atmosphere was relaxed. OVerall had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

The Hotel itself was great. Nice location and awesome look, especially liked the fireplace and bar area. What I didn't like was being put in a smaller room than we had booked due to them thinking we wanted a double room when infact we wanted twin (I do like the mate I was travelling with but not really in the... We had a great time at the hotel, the staff is very nice and friendly, and the hotel itself is really nice and decorated with style. The only little thing we were not so happy about was the "european gap" of the beds. We'd have prefered a large bed, rather than two separated bed put next one to the other.... More

Booked hotel as looked cool and assumed it was central based on conversation with reservations. We booked two single room and a standard double. The standard double was tiny couldnt walk around bed and was up a very steep dangerous flight of stairs which was difficult with luggage (no-one to help with luggage). Immediately upgraded myself and my staff to... More

Hotel V is unique with its elegant African flair. The open fire in the lounge is a real magnet and it attracts guests from morning to late. This way it is easy to get into contact with other visitors. Hotel V (V is not five, but 'vii') is run by a mixture of nationalities, all together Amsterdam lovers according to... More

Like many hotels in Amsterdam, you should not expect a hugely spacious room, however we did not feel the room to be excessively small. The rooms are finished to a high standard, as is the rest of the hotel, and the standard of finishing actually looks in real life as it does in the photos for the hotel. It is... More

We spent three nights in Hotel V, it was our fifth time in Amsterdam, and it is definetely the best Hotel where we have stayed in. Room was really warm, stylish and confortable; the lobby makes you feel home, with the big discrete windows, the calid chimenee, and the huge sofa, were you could spend hours having a free tea... It's a very nice modern hotel but be prepared that the rooms will be quite small.

3 friends and I stayed at Hotel V to celebrate one of our birthdays. Wonderful place to stay, stylish and fresh. Rooms are clean and the beds are a dream to sleep on. Great breakfast, good selection of items to choose from, certainly did not leave hungry!! Would recomend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a quirky hotel... More

Never written a review before but have so say our children loved this hotel. I chose very carefully as I did not want an old fashioned hotel as I have a very cool 14 year old boy and an equally cool 11 year old daughter. They loved it. Mostly the apple computers in the reception, the fact that the staff... More
