After booking the hotel, I received an email with a link to my personal Sir Adam page, where you can request pre-arrival items, room type, pillow menu etc... One of the things requested was early check in time (10am) when we arrived around 10:30am the receptionist abruptly reminded me it was too early for check in, but they would check if a room was ready... A room was ready and upon arrival at the room, the cleaning lady was inside on her phone... The room itself was on the small side, but nice enough... At check-in they sprung a refundable €100 deposit on top of the room rate!...

On arrival we were told the room we booked was no longer available so we were put in a room with 2 single beds which was covered in dust and had shards of glass on the floor... Very poor from a hotel that charges so much per night... Better, more professional hotels in better locations around Amsterdam than this...

Good reception: left luggage because my room wasn't ready yet, they brought my suitcase to my room. Room itself was very nice, industrial look but with great musical attributes (unfortunately the pickup player was off pitch)... We used the studios for business meeting, which were very comfortable...

This is a very beautiful Hotel, with great views. The room have a high quality room-interior... Everything was perfect except our Checkin: We arrived last Sunday during ADE Closing, we got our Room almost 2 hours deleyed after 15:00 regular Checkin-Time, while the Event we came for, begun at 16:00 (The Loft at Adam)... The deal was that we will get an E-Mail when the room is ready but this did not work, i had to call short before 17:00H to find out that the room is ready now... The next checkout day i asked for late ckeckout (the website says book with us and get 1 hour early and late checkout) after a long deal of discussion and i told we got our room 2 hours deleyed we got 1 hour late checkout...

...And the amount charged was €500 more than booking confirmation and the confirmation at front desk on the day of my check out... They also promised to send me an e-copy of my final room bill at the time of check out but until now, I haven’t got anything... Called hotel number and waited for 10mins on an overseas call and no response... I won’t be staying with this hotel or its chain ever again... Also, the materials used for the furniture and fittings in room are poor quality and cleaning is bad... So some parts of the room (carpet, power plugs, bathroom sink) are dirty as they don’t/cannot clean them well...

...Moreover, after leaving we have been charged for more than we used in the minibar and we have not been given any explanation for that. Lastly the thing that upsets me the most, we chose the deluxe room of the hotel and a grand hotel like this you expect everything cleaned (the minimum) however there was not one spot in the room that was not covered with dirt, it was everywhere, we thought the cleaner will see it and do something however shockingly no one did anything, only the dirt near the sink was cleaned since there was some water there other than that every other place was ignored...

...Loved the touches of the elevators, but maybe residents should be able to go to the top of the building (with great sights of the city) free of charge? Note to management maybe instruct your window cleaners to start later than 08:00...

...No access to the rest of the hotel and as guests we were still expected to pay just to have a look at the Lookout bar and swings Disappointed...

...The co-located restaurant was reasonably priced and the food and staff were excellent...

...I didn't book a Sir Corner but a Sir Deluxe...

...To top it off, after 3 days of having breakfast in the hotel, it progressively got worse... They really try and encourage you to pay 25e for a buffet breakfast (at check-in and in the venue) because they then dont have to serve you or care about your experience... Upon checkout, I told the reception staff this who were helpful but it was too little too late... There are some nice local places around that are much better quality, have friendly staff and better value...

...I think value for money was fantastic!... You do have to pay to go up there and use the swing but you get a discount if paid through reception... My only criticism was we weren’t aware until we arrived that they take 100euro deposit per night when you arrive... We received a final bill with several items that we hadn’t used... Luckily the person on the reception desk was very good and refunded this without argument!...

Warning - If you book this hotel be prepared to have to prove the contents of the minibar when you arrive and leave. We have just returned home from an otherwise terrific stay to find we are being charged for a number of minibar items we didn’t use...

Came over on the Eurostar which was a 5 minute walk from Sir Adam via a ferry which goes every two minutes, 24hrs a day. Don't be put off getting a ferry as it was quick and effortless... We were met by Tom at reception who was the perfect host, even got a free welcome drink on arrival... Room was lovely, clean and comfortable... Our towels were ok, but Sir Adam must invest asap, little cost for more gain... I would definitely recommend this hotel - Fun - Comfortable - Great Staff...

When we arrived at the hotel we were offered a welcome drink, the kitchen was about to close as we arrived quite late but the staff at reception made sure we had something to eat which was delivered to our room, they were so friendly, helpful and professional as were all the staff that worked at the hotel... The hotel itself is really cool, with record players in every room and different music-themed lifts that include a karaoke machine and a disco floor. The beds are big and super comfy and the staff are really friendly... The only downside is that the housekeeping was kind of lacking, especially for what you'd expect from a hotel like this - the bed was made and we were given fresh towels but it was small things like the coffee/tea/milk not being replenished or having dirty glasses and spoons still in the room...

...The location is good and a short ferry trip to the centre, the check-in experience is amazing, and there are very friendly people at the reception, who are helpful and make you feel welcome. The hotel rooms are small but comfortable and on the river, the side has a great view... The second morning I was greeted with cold water only in the shower... To top it off, after 3 days of having breakfast in the hotel, it progressively got worse... They really try and encourage you to pay 25e for a buffet breakfast (at check-in and in the venue) because they then dont have to serve you or care about your experience... Each morning, the food was cold and effortlessly made... There are some nice local places around that are much better quality, have friendly staff and better value...

...Fantastic city view, warm and stylish looking room, TV with all sorts of channels available, a charming record player in the corner, and a very nice shower... Staff were lovely and helpful, gave us the top floor room we requested without extra charge, and they made sure we had everything we needed during breakfast... There were some smoothie options (the acai one was delicious) and also bread with vegan butter and two different jams...

...It's super fun to use the elevator, be able to follow the karaoke or dive on the dance floor and practice your best moves. The turntable in the room also took me back to a very nice period in my life, I enjoyed listening to some of my favorite bands on LP once again... Tom Collins' attention during check-in was truly welcoming, he gave us all the attention, he suggested places to visit, explained everything the hotel offers perfectly, he showed us our location on the city map, his cordiality was extraordinary... The beds are super comfortable, also the pillows... We had neither cold nor heat in the room, the climate control was very good, the combination of lights in the room is very efficient and the view was outstanding...

...The hotel is located in a very quiet area which is a big plus. You take the free ferry that goes very frequently and arrive at a 2 minute walk from the hotel... The room itself is very comfortable, with a very good mattress and bedding... I’m glad I had a pleasant discount before booking the room...

Good location it’s quite nice to go with the ferry and it runs till late. Great entertainment with very friendly staff!... The tv in our room was not working, could not for the life of me figure out what was wrong with the coffee machine and we found some stains on the pillow... These might be small things but we paid €245 for 1 night and then you expect these to be perfect...

...Very great hotel in a good location. Rooms are very stylishly furnished - the bed is almost too comfortable😊 Ferry connection to the main station is uncomplicated (every 6min 24/7) In a few minutes walk in the center of Amsterdam... Parking garage with EV charging station...

Just excellent location and conditions lie you don't really find in Amsterdam for similar price... despite we take the ferry (5-7 min and for free) is perfectly located and offer very nice venue for socializing, fun, clubbing or restaurant... Perfect view as well and modern gym!...

After booking the hotel, I received an email with a link to my personal Sir Adam page, where you can request pre-arrival items, room type, pillow menu etc... The room itself was on the small side, but nice enough... The vinyl record player did not work properly (another feature the hotel touts but fell short of expectations)... At check-in they sprung a refundable €100 deposit on top of the room rate!...

We took the Sir Residence which has two connecting rooms... Shower facility is great but basin is a letdown being very minimalistic and small... No complain about the view from the rooms and staffs who are friendly...

We stayed here for 5 nights December into January for New Years and it was fantastic. The staff was great and got us situated into our room for an early check in... The room was great, nice furnishings, and bed comfortable... The location was super easy to get into town center... The free ferry runs often and takes you to main central station easily where you can pick up the subway, trams, or buses easily... Everything was lovely during our stay and would definitely come back!...

...If you wan to eat at the top of the Adam you need reservations weeks in advance... The rooms have a record player and a selection of LPs... The disco ball and glass dance floor in the elevator is also unique...

Very nice room interior and the view.Good location... Empty water bottles that were in the room on the day of check-in were also not taken away and new water was not brought, although at such a price for rooms, water could certainly be provided in the room...

An absolutely cool hotel, filled with music and good vibes. The room, with a vinyl disc recorder and a "rocky" interior is cool, and with great views (room with a view towards the river"... The Butcher restaurant is great with friendly staff, great food and club music at all times... Our stay at Sir Adams will be remembered with pleasure...

...The room was gorgeous and the cleaning service was also excellent... Then when checking out, I had 1 bottle of water from the fridge and I was told I’d be receiving a refund of €165...

Very cool hotel: ground floor has a nice restaurant and bar along with pool table, pinball machines, and other games; rooftop has a couple of swings (!)... My room was uniquely decorated with rock and roll paraphernalia and overlooked the river and Centraal Station... There's a free ferry from behind the train station to the other side of the river where the hotel is located...

Stayed here back in March for three nights and we couldn’t fault it. The hotel is just a short (one minute) ferry across the river from the main train station... Accessing the rest of the city was also very easy from here... The whole design of the place was really impressive and the added touches such as complimentary beers on arrival, vinyls to take up to your room to choose from, really made the stay... Whilst our room was small it had everything we needed, with a lovely view of the river... It was clean and modern and the bed was comfortable... The communal areas were also great with a lovely bar / restaurant as well as games area...
