My boyfriend and I visited on new year’s eve for the gorgeous views. However, our 180 degrees view was pointed towards the museum rather than the city. They did not have another room with 180 degrees of city view, so we decided to switch to a cheaper room which did have a nice city view. Because we switched to a cheaper room we had to take the breakfast buffet which was really bad, like we expected, that is why we did not include the breakfast in our booking in the first place. The room itself en the views were lovely and the staff was really helpful and understanding. But if you ask over 200 euros for a room I expect the absolute best and this was not it. The shower was terrible, the lights did not work properly and we did not get offered anything extra when we changed to a cheaper room. They also forgot a part of our breakfast order. Lastly there was something weird with their email system. The day we were leaving I got an email saying how they were looking forward to our stay and I just got an email telling us about how checkout works, even though check out was 3 days ago? Overall a very underwhelming experience for such an expensive hotel. It is nice to go there once for the views, but honestly for this price you can also go to the okura and I would recommend that.…
Had a lovely girls weekend away. Started the evening with cocktails and dinner at the restaurant. Super friendly staff and the rooms were just amazing with great views. Would defintely recommend this!
I'm travelling quite a lot for business so when I'm checking a hotel for private purpose I always choose one a bit unusual. This one didn't disappoint us at all. Very funky with LP player in the room, guitar on the wall, great design even if the rooms are not that big but definitely big enough. We particularly enjoyed the karaoke lift but more important the kindness of the staff both hotel and restaurant (dedicated review of the Butcher). Also very well located. 5 min from the central station via free ferry which the kids really enjoyed. Finally we would like to warmly thank the reception staff who put a very sweet 'mouse' message on the kids room mirror :)
Amazing staff, super cool decoration, the bed are heavenly comfortable, The butcher burgers to die for. Great for any kind of occasion. A place where you can feel younger again. A wonderful stay. I will definitely be back.
Loved this one-night-break in Sir Adam Hotel! From a pleasant and friendly check-in, to very much fun elevators into a nice and clean room. Loved the bath, room service and comfy bed. Great (vegan) breakfast in the morning with a great view. Hopped on the boat to pass t Ij and back in central Ams. Great stay!
