We stayed here for two nights and it was the highlight of our trip. Frank is a wonderful host, so accommodating and helpful. The fridge was well stocked, we ate so well for breakfasts and snacks. We are already trying to plan our trip back.

We stayed here for 5 days in early October. Frank was a great host and the location meant that we could walk to the best areas in Amsterdam in minutes. A great find and highly recommended. Our room had a little garden and was very warm. We had a fridge and Frank was happy for us to use the microwave for light meals.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Westviolet B&B. Frank was a wonderful host-and we loved meeting Blanca! It is a 15 minute walk (with luggage) to Amsterdam Centraal Station and a half-hour stroll to either the Zoo or the fabulous museums. We had a small balcony off the bedroom which we utilized in the evenings. We had the 2nd floor room-very spacious. Just be aware that stairs in Amsterdam are very steep but you'll get used to them quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

we spent 7 nights here and loved it! Frank, the owner, was very accomodating and easy going. The place is clean and in the center of Amsterdam with easy access to pretty much everything (of course, Uber is helpful in that regard). We had the room on the main floor and did not have to walk the very steep, typical for Amsterdam old homes, stairs, except for going to the kitchen. We definitely recommend this B&B! Thank you Frank; we loved our stay!

We are so lucky we found this place - what a perfect place to stay. Frank was an amazing host - he had coffee made every morning along with a decent assortment of breakfast options. He even cooked us eggs one morning. The room was extremely comfortable and the location is great - very close to the Anne Frank house and many of the canals. It was also very quiet, since it was down a side street, yet you were still very close to all the restaurants and attractions of the Jordaan area. We were able to walk to most places and was also a short walk to the central train station.

Room Tip: If you want to avoid the narrow staircases that are common in Amsterdam, stay on the bottom floor.
