Speedy check in nice rooms good price. Friendly helpful receptionists. Location is perfect if you want away from the bustle of the centre. Trains every few mins take you right into town anyway. Walking distance to the Amsterdam arena. Had a great stay

I booked 5 rooms at this hotel 2 months in advance and on arrival they lied that Expedia had asked them to cancel my booking. On calling Expedia, they said they never asked them to do so. They were not bold enough to own up to their inability to fulfil the booking or even notify me of the cancellation before I arrived. My team arrived after midnight and were left without a place to stay. We eventually found a room in a nearby hotel around 3am. Ozo hotel has a lot of bad reviews which I regretfully ignored. Please do not go to this hotel so you don't end up being shafted. Very incompetent bunch. The place should be closed down.

There is a lady at the reception called Nathalie. How is this person with this personality and attitude a front desk agent. I was absolutely disgusted!! Her tone of speech, her body language….Just terrible!!! The manager didn’t seem to care when I requested to speak to him. They both started to speak Dutch in front of me thinking I wouldn’t understand. Such a shame…

Cancelled our rooms and sold them on after trying to charge our holding card before we arrived. No call, no e-mail, just got there around 1:30am, after delayed travel, to find we had no rooms. No attempt to help us, had to find something else ourselves. Thankfully the Holiday Inn up the road, who couldn't take us, made some calls and got us in. Don't even book

For my wedding in 2022 I had arranged hotelsrooms for my familymembers - at our expensive. I had a lovely contact with the hotel manager, specifically to discuss the hotel options for my disabled Aunty who is 80+ years. Everthing was pre-paid and arranged. However when my family got there, the first could not find the booking and made my family wait as if hotel was not booked. Mind you this was one day before my wedding. I had to rush to see to it all was taken care off, they staff was just so rude, it really upset me. I mean we could have gone to any other hotel in amsterdam, but because of the good contact with the hotel manager I went for it. In additon, breakfast was supposed to be served in my aunty bedroom since she cant walk for distance and after a few minutes she has a lot of pain. After 2 hours of waiting they did not bring any breakfast. My cousin had to sneak some bread to her room, because they refused to give her breakfast. The utterly rudeness of it all, is the last day, they did not let my family check-out, becuase breakfast had not been paid for. This was a lie!!! I had paid and shared my proof my payment before any of my family members stepped into the hotel. When I complained to the hotel manager, I heard nothing! I demanded partly refund because of the rudeness. I spent over 1500 euros for only 2 nights with disgusting behaviour from the staff. I dont know where these people were trained, but I am beyond dissapointed, also because I have a lot of hotel experience, but I have never experienced being treated like this before! I would not recommend to go to this hotel! After all of my complains no one has reached out, not even for an apology!

I ve never encountered a receptionist of that sort in my whole life as a traveller so far! Reservation made and comfirmed through booking.com, my credit card had been fully charged well before arrival!! Once we arrive she asked for our credit card to be charged once more, otherwise we wouldn’t be admitted to the hotel!!! Upon my refusal of this, she called the police, and decided that she doesn’t want us as her clients anymore!!! Believe it or not, we were thrown out of the hotel because according to the police she had every right to not accept us at her premises even though we had fully paid in advance. An experience to be remembered for sure, that receptionist doesn’t have a future in that industry with that kind of attitude!! I wish the best of luck to unfortunate guests that might book this place by mistake…

Due to Amsterdam going into lockdown we decided to move our booking. We were due to travel in the middle of the lockdown. One colleague said I can move the booking once so we then asked to move it to September 2022. They refused to move the booking. They said it had to be before March 2022 which I wasn’t happy with and despite my concerns about travelling with a child during COVID they wouldn’t listen. Had they told me March from the start then fair enough but they didn’t so therefor it is their mistake. This would have been my third time returning there but this experience has been enough to put me off ever giving them more of my money. The way they spoke was disgusting.

I recently stayed in this hotel for a long weekend and the level of standards, professionalism and security for a “4 star hotel” is not at all how you could imagine. The staff are ignorant and rude. They have rats running around outside the hotel entrances. Staff feel free to enter your room when you have the “do not disturb” sign on. And i can guarantee you will be woken up by the person above you having a shower. The walls are thinner than a piece of string, if you want everyone to hear your conversation or if your want your personal items taken out of your purse by the cleaner then feel free to book this “hotel”.

The room was spacious and well equipped. The mattress was great. There is a small gym on the ground floor that I visited briefly, but plan to do a proper workout there next time. Very close to a Metro station, which gets you downtown quick, a 600 meter walk to the Amsterdam Arena, where there are a dozen restaurant options. The staff at the front desk were helpful and fast, which I appreciated. Ideal if coming by car.

We had a pleasant stay at the Ozo Hotel Amsterdam. The fact that the location is a bit further out of the city center didn't bother us, as you can get to the metro station within 5 minutes and Amsterdam Central station within 15 minutes. We found the hotel to be very clean, the room was spacious, modern and well equipped. We especially liked the bathroom with the glass wall. Beds were also very comfortable.
