Great experience, hotel is very close to many attractions, boat tour and sight seen office just accross the road, everything is walking distance from it. Nice and clean, staff are great and helpful, would absolutely recommend this place.

Visited between May 5th and 8th with family. My daughter found a great rate online, 30% off regular rate. Busy weekend as well, they were booked solid. Didn't encounter too many other guests, except at breakfast, which was laid out nicely buffet style. High rating because it's pretty centrally located to many attractions, including Rijks Museum, which is within a...

We are confused as to why there's three pending charges to our credit card. $222.46. $354.61 & $578.28. We stayed two nights and understood about the hold for damage deposit, plus the room cost. The only charge should be the room cost for two nights.

Very bad breakfasts, every day the same one. Air conditioning at my room didnt work. Receptionist at check in was mean at me. The only really good thing in my point of view is a location of the hotel.

Booked months ago and like many on here said, we booked a room w two beds and were given a room with twin beds pushed together. We were then moved to a room on the first floor. This room was bigger, however the room smelled like sewage. We were told there were no other rooms. Staff sprayed the room with...

The hotel's proximity to museums is one reason we chose this hotel. It's a convenient wslk to the bus stop going to and coming from the aitport. The rooms are small and the bathroom is more like a bath closet, snd not a 'room'. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, though our room was not cleaned and bed was not...

The room did not smell good and it is very tight space. We recommend to have more amenities, an iron and more space in the closet. The location is good and the service was also good. I recommend it for leisure, not for business

Overall a good experience. Small but clean room with everything we needed, very comfortable bed and good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful although at times more needed to cope with demand. Often no one to serve at the bar for example. We were woken early each morning by building work outside the room windows but otherwise slept well and would...

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighborhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
