We stayed at the Prinszicht apartment for six nights and seven days. There was everything that we needed and more: Chocolates, Olive Oil, every comfort was thoughtfully provided. The apartment was located close enough to walk to all the attractions, or if you prefer near to transportation and yet situated in a quiet neighborhood. What a joy to wake up...

We just returned to the states from a trip to Amsterdam and Bruges and our Amsterdam experience was truly made great by Marne and Julien at Fredric Rent a Bike. We rented two different apartments from them on the Brouwersgracht canal in the same block as their rental shop. The location couldn't be better - only a block from a...

We stayed at the Prinszicht apartment for two nights and three days. It was great, very spacious and quite stylish. I really loved it and so did the girls I was with. It was Pride weekend and the city had a great vibe but it was so crowded! It was good that the apartment was a bit off the beaten...

I always stay at Frederic's when I visit Amsterdam. The budget priced rooms for singles and couples are the best value I've found there. It's friendly, quiet and, and although not in the centre of town, shopping's no problem. Staff all very helpful. Lots of different types of accommodation too, including houseboats, though I've not stayed on one of them....

We stayed six nights which included the Queen's Day festivities. The location was fantastic. The houseboat is in the Jordaan area where the Prisengracht meets Bloemgracht. You could see the Anne Frank huis and hear the Westerkerk bells from the houseboat. The kitchen had the items needed to prepare your own meals. There is a refrigerator, electric oven, dishwasher, coffee...

The terrace which we had seen in the internet was super dirty (abandoned) and the closets where we were supposed to put our clothes were very dusty. We wanted to put the heating on when we arrived at night (22'30h) and it wasnt working anymore and so we had to freeze for as while. Then the side bed lamp fell...

We stayed in the apartment Noordermarkt I. I would agree with the previous positive review of this apartment, it is very spacious and has a certain quirkiness. As mentioned one bedroom is accessed through the bathroom, and the other beds are in the living room. The apartment is perfectly located by an organic farmer's market on Saturday (delicious baked goods...

We stayed on the Bloemgracht Houseboat for 2 weeks over Queensday. It is clean & light on the inside despite the rather gloomy exterior. It has a full kitchen with coffee maker, lots of dishes & pans, dishwasher, stove & big fridge (no microwave) & washer/dryer. The furnishings are basic, but clean & the TV got 25 channels. The bed...

My girlfriend and I stayed at this houseboat which we got through Fredric rent-a-bike. Who also rents out 3 very cozy and charming rooms in his own house. Because his place was fully booked we opted to stay at this amazing houseboat on the Brouwersgracht canal about a 15 minute walk from central station (with suitcase). We paid 130 euro/night...
