The rooms were like prison rooms the beds were from iron. In the rooms there was nothing that we can call a shower because it was a pipe that came out of the wall. The breakfast was good we received lunchpackets for the lunch. And if you come with friends the atmosphere will be more cool and zen. There are...

The service was good nothing wrong with it except that they kept us waiting when we arrived. After we got our pass to get inside I was a bit dissapointed because the last time I went there I got a room with a second level. this time it was only one floor. That brings me to the Rooms. The rooms...

Hello, I was at Amsterdam to enjoy my schooltrip and the city as a backpacker. The hostel itself was fine - close enough to everything. Stayed here a night with friends in 6 person room. Excellent value for money. Even proper breakfast inuded and top location. Very spacious room with high ceiling. - Room has an in-built toilet and bathroom....

When we arrived we had to wait a few minutes to get our keys. Then we had to leave the hotel because our rooms weren't clean yet. When we came back we met a very unfriendly woman and took our luggage up the (very steep) stairs, we had to use our keycard to enter the hall with the rooms and...

This is obviously a budget hotel , but it is a great value if you just want a place to stay. The rooms are very basic , but the standard stuff is there. Shower and toilet are just fine and very clean. The service differs from person to person on the staff.

Stayed at the hostel during conference trip. The hostel was clean, there was only problem with heating. It was safe and the staff were helpful, they gave us transport information. The location of the hostel is away from the city centre.

A large and efficiently run hostel. quite a lot of school groups present which perhaps isn't surprising considering the building is an old school. Retains school like character, strict. Either a long walk into the city or a quickish tram ride.
