Great location but the hotel is pricey for what you get. No tea/coffee facilities in the room and we had to ask for clean towels as they hadn't been changed. The breakfast was ok, not a lot of choice. When we checked in we had to change rooms as the air conditioning unit was so noisy we would have been...

The hotel is very well located, quite clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming; they even let me check-in early because the room was ready. Having said this, there is no lift and getting to the room on the 4th floor is a chore for sedentary people like myself. The room is very cramped and the bed mattress is...

This hotel was just right. Yes, the stairs are a bit annoying, but it's the same around Amsterdam. Perfect location and a great staff! Very nice and courteous throughout our stay. Next time I'm in Amsterdam, this will be my place!!

When I told my friends I was coming to Amsterdam I was told to find a place called the 'corner house' and try their famous pancakes. So day 1 that's exactly what I did. These are incredible pancakes and worthy of their reputation, I will return next time I'm in Amsterdam for more pancakes. As for the staff, the waitress...

Thank you to Reyna and all the hotel staff that made my friend's hen party a complete success. They were so helpful, from helping us to facilitate some surprises (which none of the big hotel chains would ever dream of going out of their way to do) even down to letting us have photos behind the bar! You were amazing!...

Stayed here with my family on an overnight stop over returning from our vacation. Very chilled and friendly and reasonably priced. Stayed in a four bed family room that was perfect for our needs. And so well located yards from Dam square and the 'center'.Will be calling back methinks.

The rooms are small and neat, the bar/restaurant is cosy and good value, the staff a friendly and accomodating, the location is very central but in a busy road though so unless it's Sunday don't plan on sleeping in on the up side though it's easy to find which is always a bonus in Amsterdam...oh yes and those bloody stairs.

Just returned from a 2 night weekend stay at this hotel. Location was very accessible, just a short walk from Amsterdam Central Train Station and to many of the local attractions. Very friendly accommodating staff and the bar downstairs was reasonably priced for drinks. Breakfast was included in our stay and was fairly traditionally continental, boiled eggs, cheese, ham, baguettes...

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
