Stayed at this hotel for a break. The hotel is quite well situated near Liedse square. A 5 minute walk to the trams. A 1/2 hour walk to Dams square. The hotel is an old building and not very disabled friendly. It was clean and comfortable. The only problem I found was the lack of A/C. The staff were friendly... More

We were very happy in our room, it was small but comfortable. There was a small amount of noise from other guests coming and going. The bathroom was adequate, and included a bath tub. We really liked the fact that it was on a quiet street, we could hear birds chirping in the large trees surrounding the area, but it... More

Apologies but my review is merely going to be to share our total disatisfaction with this hotel. Entirely up to you if you read on... We originally booked a hotel for two nights (namely Sara's Boutique Hotel) and as a certain named booking company (rhymes with Motels.com) had not carried out the confirmation with the hotel we were found stranded,... Quiet, clean hotel, perfect for a good night's sleep. Stayed in a 3-bed room, everything was good. Breakfast was not included in our booking, and we thought the price was a little too steep so we chose to eat elsewhere, no problem finding breakfast in the city.

Typical old European hotel but since you get to stay away more often, it is tolerable. The location is right in the centre of all points of interest and you can take early morning strolls to enjoy the cool air or go jogging at the park. Reception was OK, nothing extra from their end to assist guests. Room was small... More

This is the third time me and my partner stay at the hotel, and we've always had nice clean rooms. This time we decided to pay extra for a superior room (your most expensive room) and was extremely disappointed with the conditions of the bathroom. The shower was mouldy and the shower curtain was stained. It was quite gross having... More

Going by my excellent experience with the Monchengladbach property of this hotel chain, I booked this hotel. It turned out to be the worst stay of my life. Piegeon hole size Superior Room, lousy & cold breakfast, split levels at all floors so carrying luggage a serious threat to your health, dirty bathrooms, smallest shower possible, etc. etc. To add... Like most mid range Amsterdam hotel, Leonardo is tight on space but a great location. Just a minutes walk from Vondel Park, this works well if young children are part of your group, or if chilling with a book a part of your main agenda in Amsterdam. The triple room means having to trip over each others suitcases and the... More
