My husband and I stayed at Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam City Center (booked through a third-party website as "Best Western Leidse Square") and were very pleased. The staff were helpful and rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The neighborhood is quiet and within a short walk to all the major sights (wish we had known this before we bought travelcards). This... More

I just wanted to comment on how grateful I am for their exceptional service. I had to cancel my room after the cancellation period was over and they were so understanding and gave me the full refund. I am really grateful for their great customer service!

We stayed here the night before a cruise to Norway. It was a great location with a huge nearby park, a nearby bus stop that goes directly to the airport for a low price and also a tram stop to get around the city itself. We were able to walk to many attractions easily. It was clean and breakfast was... More

The hotel in itself was kinda small and kind of outdated. But the staff were amazing, the location is one of the best in town (by vondelpark and a couple of minutes to centre) And also very good service. I recomment this hotel too those whos not spending all day in the hotel room but need a good located hotel... More

this hotel is situated in a very good location. However it is old and really needs a renovation which the recption told me wil happen in January. Room is ok for 2 to 3 day but for more it is too small. The complaints in the reviews about no airco are annoying, people tend to forget that not every country... More

Dear Serge, Thank you for your review and for the compliments about our staff. Like many of our (regular) guests, we look forward to the renovation in January. We appreciate your view on the subject of airconditioning; our summers can sometimes barely be called summers. We do have airconditioning installed in some rooms, but the guests have specify this in... More

Air con is not standard so we paid for an upgrade (€10 per night) only to have the aircon smell quite badly and not work very well. The shower was very dirty, mould and an old shower curtain. No fridge in the room was disappointing. The positives are when you upgrade its a decent sized room and staff were prompt... More

Hotel was in a great location, and was decent. We were surprised that our room didn't have AC. The front desk mentioned that some rooms do, but not the cheapest ones. We could have upgraded for 10€ a night, but the few days we were in Amsterdam it wasn't needed. The room had fans and we just left the window... More

The advertisement was better than the reality. We were expecting much more than what we got. The hotel was quite old, the room was clean, however, it was on the ground floor and the windows opened right at the street. People were passing through all the time. We weren't feeling safe there. Also the wifi was very poor, basically, there... More

Stayed at this hotel for a break. The hotel is quite well situated near Liedse square. A 5 minute walk to the trams. A 1/2 hour walk to Dams square. The hotel is an old building and not very disabled friendly. It was clean and comfortable. The only problem I found was the lack of A/C. The staff were friendly... More
