As we crawled in to our expensive and small room at 3am we were greeted with the dark as none of the lights were working. I did inform the staff the following day. I was thanked for the information but no offer of any compensation. Save your money and stay in a hostel or be a bit more discerning and...

Hotel was very central close to places like The Bulldog and close to great shops. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly! Only bad thing is the narrow stairs but it's Amsterdam so you just have to bear with it! Also our room was facing the street so we could hear the trams travelling past and...

First the good things; the staff at the hotel were very helpful and polite. They always were trying to please and would go the extra mile. The breakfast was the typical continental breakfast and was included in our booking. The location was quite good with trams nearby. Now the bad; most of the reviews are accurate in their assessment of...

This was our second time staying here, again for 2 nights, and we were able to get the same room as on our first stay. It was a deluxe double ensuite on the top floor. The bed is comfy, love the big fully opening window and there is a great shower. It is in a perfect location, if you know...

Booked this hotel last minute and unfortunately didn’t get a chance to read the bad reviews first. Wish we had! First impression was the scary stairs which are more like a step ladder , very steep especially noticeable when coming down. The room was on second floor which wasn’t very clean had a broken window which wasn’t double glazed so...

This is a budget hotel and you do get what you pay for in this World. That said, there are some very basic things this hotel could do to make the accommodation better. - The paintwork on the walls in our bedroom needed a really good re-paint, there were scuffs, marks and stains all over the white paint. This is...

Arrived at the hotel, shocked by the scary stairs! Very steep and no one to help with the luggage, if you have a big luggage don't even think of it! Reached the room, thank god it was on the first floor, it is much smaller than the pictures on hotel booking websites. Internet is very very bad, there were spider...

I am familiar with Amsterdam hotels and have visited and stayed in multiple throughout the city. This was the worst hotel I've stayed at in Amsterdam. Let's start with positives. The location is near a lot of nightlife and restaurants. There are dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, retail stores and clubs within a several block radius. Walkable (though far) from...

first of all this hotel is amazing for a 2 star hotel. We stayed for 5 nights.Tiny staircase, not the most comfortable room but you get what u pay for. Our room was being cleaned every day so it was always clean and fresh. We didn´t book breakfast and didn´t regret it in any way. There´s loads of opportunities to...

We stayed in this hotel during June 2016. This hotel does what you expect and is a 5 minute walk from leidesplein with all the pub's and Irish bars plus sports bars. It's just off the main street so is quite quiet, it's also convenient for the tram lines 1,2 and 5. There is loads of shopping nearby if that's...
