Simply the finest B&B I've ever stayed in. Peter and Wolter are the most welcoming of hosts and will make your stay in Amsterdam truly memorable. We stayed in the Red Room and found it to be bright and spacious. The 2 windows provide great views of the canal and you could easily spend hours watching the world go by... More

My friend and I stayed in the red room and our other friends stayed in the green room. We stayed sept 1-4 prior to a Baltic cruise. Both rooms have windows on the canal. The red room has a sitting area with sofa, desk and computer facing the canal with large windows that open. The bed (think a queen) was... More

My friend and I recently spent a week with Peter and Wolter at Kamer01. If you are looking for a quirky, comfortable bed and breakfast within easy walking distance of most of Amsterdam's attractions we would recommend Kamer01 to you. Peter and Wolter made us feel so welcome - Kamer01 is an original, authentic canal house which shows Peter's skills... More

Great location, wonderful breakfasts, very helpful and gracious host. Overlooks the canal, yet noise was not an issue. Very convenient to tram lines and walking distance to most major attractions. Would stay again on any future visits to Amsterdam.

we stayed at Kamer01 to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary: it was amazing, perfect and awesome! Peter and Wolter are excellent hosts (forget the guidebooks, they know the best things to see and do in Amsterdam!) and have created a truly beautiful set of rooms, with beautiful furniture and art. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, served with real theatre in... More

My husband and I stayed at Kamer01 for 2 nights of our honeymoon, and it lives up to every review! Peter & Wolter are incredible hosts - funny, kind, and easy to chat with. We stayed in the blue suite which was impeccably decorated and had every necessity. The breakfasts each morning were beyond words - so delicious and beautifully... More

Peter, Wolter and their pooch, Tommy, were absolutely outstanding hosts! The breakfasts were wonderfully presented and quite delicious. The location is ideal; right near the heart of the city with access to everything you'd want to get to. Perfect! We would love to return!

Located on one of the most beautiful corners of Amsterdam, this tiny hotel is the perfect romantic getaway destination. There are only three rooms, each one uniquely and tastefully decorated by the owner, a former interior designer. We loved the mix of modern, Dutch, and East Asian elements in the decor. The owner is thoughtful and warm and at the... More
