We had a pleasant stay for four nights - minus the fact there was a massive rave gonig on outside that was overlooked. When we arrived they said "would you like breakfast in the morning - its 17 euros" Then after presenting passports "we just need a signature" Apparently what I was signing - " which I could read" was that I was taking breakfast every day at a discounted rate which was non cancellable so paid for two breakfasts for four people at a cost of 136 euros which I didnt have. After taking up this issue for this organised deception they simply stated they were sorry that I didn't read it and it wasn't explained. Utterly shameful con Will not stay with people that admit they stole from guests and say oh well.

Spent a few days in this hotel. The location is a bit unusual being in a former industrial port area being revamped into an arty centre. The larger and higher rooms will give the best views. Hotel is a short ferry trip from the city. Contemporary decor Good points: Helpful staff. Air conditioning. Good facilities in room. Quiet location. Bad points: Location requires travel to the city. Limited eating places in vicinity. Contemporary decor is (for us) a little dark and depressing

The hotel is located in ndsm in a former wharf area, which is now a cultural spot with some newly residential buildings and offices, very convenient is the ferry which connects you to the main train station just some footsteps away from the hotel. The hotel itself is not too big, there is also a open air parking for 15 euros a day. The breakfast and restaurant serves a very nice breakfast, the kitchen is open until 22. the restaurant until 23. They have also room Service. We stayed in room with nice sea view, however for my taste the room we stayed in was too small, but I also like big rooms so I can place my luggage nicely somewhere. The bathroom was arranged a bit weirdly as there is no difference between the shower floor and the normal floor so everything gets wet there more or less when you take shower. Also the lavatory is weird arranged, you can’t even fill in the water heater because the height is so low, I have never seen such a weird arrangement. However most people don’t come for a perfect room here as there is so much to see and discover in Amsterdam. Therefor the hotel serves its purpose. We would likely stay there again but then in a bigger room so we have a little more space. The price is really reasonable compared to other hotels which are in central Amsterdam and can be easily 200 euros+ a night, but of course you also need to take time to wait and drive with the ferry to the city, but as you may just do so twice a day for us it was perfect.

We went there for a family trip, the area has everything (on a nice ferry journey from Central Station, hence great location) but still not the business and noise o being in the city Centre. The area is up and coming and has a lot of good dinner, lunch and breakfast places, and even an Albert Heijn. The staff is great, always in for a chat, and really service minded.

The rooms were quiet and clean. The staff are friendly. I appreciated the recognition of my Diamond status. The ferry across runs regularly and is easy to use. The location is interesting and there is a grocery store and a coffee place 2 min walk away.

The Double Tree is across the water from central Amsterdam in the Noord area of the city. It's around a 15 min ferry crossing to Central Station. The area is an old industrial place which is slowly being developed, there are a couple of bars and restaurants, a supermarket, but that's pretty much it. You will need to take a boat in to the centre for most things. The hotel is small, the rooms are adequate, the beds are very inadequate. Every double is made of 2 single mattresses zipped together, causing a dip in the middle and hard uncomfortable line where the zip is.

Nice and small hotel, but really comfortable, Very good customer services provide by each of the team members at this hotel, much way better than Hilton Amsterdam and Hilton Rotterdam, Love the staff at this hotel , Special thanks to Barry And Ralph, help me to manage my booking before my stay and during my stay, super friendly , helpful and nice. Customer services 100 %. Really appreciate! But just one thing that I would like to raised up is lacked of benefit for Diamond members. May be can consider to add on this exclusive benefit, that will be nice.
