We stayed at this hotel January 5-7 while visiting Amsterdam. Our travel agent had made the reservation for us so we weren't really familiar with the hotel. Once we arrived, we were delighted with the hotel. Though we arrived earlier than official check in, they found a room for us (we were jet lagged after something like fourteen hours of... More

This was a great place to stay for our three nights in Amsterdam. Our room afforded us a spectacular view from the 8th floor and was large and comfortable as well. We booked on Hotwire and received a good deal that made this a better option than staying a smaller place closer to the centre. Ultimately, this was just a... More

It is well situated, although it is a 10 minute walk from the center. Do some research in advance if you come by car, because the parking space outside the hotel is golden. I paid 54 euro's for about 24 hours. There should be a cheaper one in the area but the hotel receptionist told that when I was checking... More

I had a fantastic stay at the Movenpick hotel. My partner and I spent the weekend there and where extremely happy with our stay. Our room was beautiful and the staff where so well mannered. We also enjoyed the complementary sauna rooms that came with our stay. Very impressed and will be recommending to others.

Staff couldn't do enough for us, fabulous view. 10 minute walk to the town centre, but there is a shuttle bus and a tram. Be careful of taxis as they charged €10 for a short ride. The concierge staff were really helpful advising us on everything we wanted to do

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Food was excellent both in the bar/restaurant and at breakfast. Staff were all extremeley friendly, professional and helpful. Had upgraded to Junior suite prior to arrival which was the best thing we could have done because we were hotel bound most of the weekend due to very bad weather. Whilst we missed out on... More
