We spent a week in the bed and breakfast in September. Our room was in the back facing the garden, two flights up. The first flight isn't too steep, but the second is more so-so if you have issues with stairs, stay on a lower level. If you don't need to be in the thick of other tourists, the location... More

We had a light, airy, bright room facing the canal. It had plenty of space for us and our teen son. We loved the location near the Vondelpark and tram. We were able to eat right on the canal at a very good restaurant a few doors down. Loved having access to a refrigerator, plenty of tea and coffee and... More

We had a room facing the courtyard, which has its advantages. Someone on the block owns parrots and lets them out to frolic in the trees sometimes. Watching them was an unexpected treat. Paul did a great job of showing us how to get around town, good places to eat, how to navigate safely among the cars & bikes and... More

We stayed at the Bed and Breakfast Amsterdam for 7 nights. Paul showed us to our room and answered many questions about trams, restaurants, supermarkets, and banks that are nearby and easy to reach. He has a paper and map with all above information so that you don't forget. The room was adequate size with a very nice, updated, en suite... More

This is a lovely B&B along a small canal. The beautiful Vondelpark is just 3 mins walk. The room is big, elegant and clean. Also, there's a shared kitchen that you can cook dinner or make coffee by yourself. The breakfast is awesome. They set it in front of your door with a gentle knock to wake you up. I... More

While visiting Amsterdam we wanted to stay somewhere quite and not surrounded by Stag and Hen groups but not to far from the inner circle of canals and other places of interest. This B & B fitted the bill in every way. It was at the back of Vondelpark facing a canal. Supermarket, shops and resturants close by. Also tram... More

We stayed at B&B Amsterdam for 4 days and we couldn't have been happier. To start with the location although is a bit on the far end, it is pretty well connected though. The best part is the canal in front is very quiet and a welcome relief from the crowds. Vondal park is a few mins away...works in a... More

Paul greeted us warmly. Our room was clean and cheerful, and we had our own private garden. Paul's directions to the B&B on public transit were clear, and his recommendations for dining were excellent. We shared a small kitchen space that included a frig, granola, cookies, and facilities for making coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Every evening a small dessert... More

We are for the fourth time in Amsterdam and this is the best choice we did concerning the accommodation. The location is perfect if you are looking for a less touristy environment and you want to feel the real Amsterdam way of life. The Vondelpark is a few steps away. You can take tram 1 or tram 17 and in... More

A warm welcome awaited us and the experience lasted the week we were there. All the "must see sights" were within walking distance or a cheap tram trip. The B&B was spotlessly maintained and breakfast was more than adequate for the start of our day. Conveniently located close to cafes and restaurants. Our hosts were always available but we had...
