Second time staying at the hotel. Beautiful view on the canal. The staff is very professional and helpful. The garden is beautiful, the breakfast tower is amazing. We also have the afternoon tea, very delicious. Room is well sized, highly recommended.
Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam is the best in Amsterdam. It delivers on each promise: the absolute beauty of the premises, the astonishing perfection of each detail, the flawless, personalized, super kind service delivered by the most fantastic Staff. The most refined room with all the amenities you can desire, a delicious breakfast elegantly served, the superbe SPA, and even the "parfum d'ambiance" you can choose for your room! We were excited and happy to have chosen again this hotel (it was our second stay) in the wide array of possibilities Amsterdam offers, even considering the high fares they applied. Those are money well spent. Our congratulation to each and everyone of the ladies and gentlemen of the Staff, in particular to Mr. Juan for the flawless check in and warm welcome he gave us, to the impeccable Mr. Julian at the restaurant, to Mr. Enrico of Guest Relations for helping us smartly with the restaurants, to the House Keeping department - because our room was unbelievably clean and perfectly served - to Ms. Paola for smoothly and kindly checking us out. Finally, our congratulations to the General Manager, Mr. Roberto Payer, for directing such and incredible hotel with professionalism warmth and grace. Thank you for the marvelous experience we had and look forward to going back to Walfdorf Astoria Amsterdam.…
From start to finish, this was one of the most enjoyable stays I've ever had at a hotel. The location is perfect, the property is beautiful and the rooms were particularly spacious for a luxury European hotel. Most importantly, the service was absolutely impeccable. Staff knew me by name within the first 30 minutes of me checking in and remarkably knew the breakfast order for my wife and I and our four kids by the second day. We had one kid test positive for Covid while we were there and the staff were kind and proficient to make sure he got whatever he needed while quarantined for a few days. Overall just a great experience.
We had the most fabulous 5 days in Amsterdam at the Waldorph Astoria. The accommodations were superb & the staff excellent. The location is ideal. We highly recommend the hotel. We have had the luxury of staying at some of the finest hotels in the world & this won’t disappoint.
Wow. Just…wow. Best hotel experience ever. From the moment we walked in the door, to the staff waving farewell as we left, this stay was beyond perfect. We are long time Hilton Diamond members, and have stayed in a number of properties around the world. This takes the cake. We booked our stay on HHonors points. We received a Diamond upgrade. When we walked in (yes, we walked in carrying hiking backpacks) we were greeted with a drink. The reception team welcomed us, explained all about the property, amenities, and offered a choice of scents for our room. They turned a screen toward us welcoming us and e-card with “happy anniversary.” The room was gorgeous. Large bathroom, tile floors, shower, double sink vanity, amazing bath products, the softest bathrobes ever. Sitting area in the room, soft bed, pillow menu. It was an anniversary stay for us, so our room had been arranged with complimentary torte, balloons, and a personal card the first night. Turn down the second night included roses on the pillows. Someone heard us comment on music preference, and that was playing in our room. The staff pay attention to the guests. We asked for meal recommendations the first night, and got a great suggestion, a reservation, and a cab arranged by the concierge. The next day, they had great ideas for sightseeing and food based on what they had learned the prior evening. This stay was so personalized by the team. The pool was opened for us late in the evening - we had the whole place to ourselves. Massages in the spa were amazing. The gardens in the back gorgeous. Breakfast perfect. This is where I run out of adjectives to describe how wonderful this hotel is. The team make it a step above anything else I’ve experienced. Experience for yourself.…

A warm welcome, lovely scents we could choose in the room and personal notes from the Staff. The interior is warm and stylish. Perfect location in the Historic cente at the Canals for exploring Amsterdam. Our most luxury experience ever and you can't skip diner @ Restaurant Spectrum. A perfect experience!
Had an absolutely amazing stay at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam and already can't wait to go back! I'm a Hilton Diamond member and have stayed at other luxurious properties before (including Conrad Bora Bora, Grand Wailea, Hilton Moorea, and Conrad Maldives), but this felt like the most luxurious property of them all. Highlights included: - Spa day (recommend the 3-hour Gentleman's Ultimate experience) - Afternoon tea (so delicious and so many options) - Upgraded from a basic room to King Grand Premier with an amazing clawfoot tub - Personal service where staff knew my name - Getting to pick a scent for my room each night for turndown service - Having the hotel reserve bikes for me - Chocolate diamonds waiting for me in the room at check-in - Room ready for me at 10am - Relaxing in the gorgeous garden - Enjoying the pool, sauna, and steam room Really can't say enough good things and can't wait to go back.…
Another fantastic stay. We have not been since Covid and we were so happy to be back. The entire staff is so polite and welcoming. It was great to see Brighton at the front door again with his welcoming smile still there after many years. The whole dining staff did an amazing job if it was in Peacock Alley where we had two great meals or downstairs for breakfast. Frank and Roeland at the concierge desk took great care of our requests. The pillow menu was a great addition. You can feel the team work with all the staff and it makes for a great experience.
Loved the hotel, attention to details like Guerlain perfume choices tailored to each guest. Dinner at Spectrum was extraordinaire, breakfast was perfect but the hospitality and location was the best part. Our room overlooked the canal and we loved watching the boats go by. Concierge team had wonderful recommendations and among their best was the private saloon boat dinner they organized with exquisite restaurant choices for each course! Bravo!
