This is a great little find, i travel a lot for work and stay in 4 + 5 star hotels. Obviosuly as its work i am not paying. The service that we received at Barangay is 2nd to none, and is a lot more personal than you get at large hotels. We booked this very late, and via an online...

Holland is best known of having that ugly weather, but our stay in Amsterdam was wonderful! A 5-day stay at Barangay B & B were complimented also with nice hot weather, it was still spring but by that time if felt like summer! So the rumor that Holland has dull weather all year round is not true at all, or...

I’d gone on a spontaneous trip to Amsterdam and spent the nth hour scrambling for lodging. I was very pleased to have stumbled upon Barangay Bed & Breakfast by way of referral from Peter who owns Peter’s B&B; you’ll discover that Amsterdam is a really small (and friendly) city, and that most B&B proprietors are close friends. Hence, if someone...

The Barangay has several rooms, each one with slightly different services and features. We stayed for a week in the largest room---very comfortable with a large, comfortable bed (comfy headboard, mattress supportive of my bad back). We shared a large, nice modern bathroom with one other room, and didn't trip over the other guests. (Other rooms have private baths.) But...

Barangay B&B Droogbak 15-A Just got back from Amsterdam and I truly enjoyed staying at Barangay B&B. I had the Blue Room which has direct access to the patio. Take the tropical motif of the room combined with all of the plants and flowers on the patio and you have a very relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was a treat! Delivered...

My kids (15 and 18) and I stayed at the B&B for three days and nights. When we arrived Wimmo was very helpful with directions to various places, offering to plan some trips and generally making us feel right at home. The room we occupied was very clean and inviting and the facilities excellent. I would not hesitate to reccommend...

Barangay is a tropical hideaway in the midst of Amsterdam..located only a few minutes walk from the Central station and close to the Jordan area where you can find lots of nice restaurants, boutiques and galleries. Our room was very cosy and we had a little patio area decorated in soft lighting and nice tropical touches! Wimmon and Godwin, the...

My wife and I just returned from a Brussles/Amsterdam trip, and choose the Barangay in Amsterdam based upon reviews on this site. It is a top notch bed and breakfast. Upon arrival, the tropical boys, wimmo & godxxx will show you all the right places to visit. Great if you are a 1st timer. The breakfast in bed was delicious...
