My partner and I stayed here on the Prinsengraacht for 3 days in February. The communication with Eric was excellent and we found the place no problem. The location is fantastic with tram links all over Amsterdam practically on your doorstep! Eric greeted us with 2 bottles of lager in the fridge upon arrival which we were greatful for as... More

Stayed here in Sept 2013, when I decided to extend my trip to Amsterdam and do some sight seeing. The reviews on TA were accurate - Eric's a nice guy, friendly, and made sure the apt was stocked with whatever I needed for breakfast. You do have to make your own breakfast though, and there's a well stocked kitchen. The... More

The apartment in the Jordaan is very traditionally Dutch. Narrow winding staircase and all! The house has been very nicely renovated inside though, so all the mod cons work beautifully. There are a couple of requirements from a holiday accommodation - secure, clean, safe - and Eric ticks all the boxes. Plus he's a really nice guy who puts in... More

This review is strictly for the "Canal House." My wife and I just returned from a stay at Eric's. We thoroughly loved it. The location is great! The property is really, really cool and unique. Beware! If you are not fit or have any mobility issues, the stairs will probably be problematic, to say the least. But, if can handle... More

Stayed at Eric's B&B in the Jordaan district. Excellent location. We stayed in the ensuite room with the white door on the 1st floor. Its got a good selection of books in the bookcase and I enjoyed going through the books. Eric asked what we wanted for breakfast on the day of arrival, and provided everything we wanted. Eric was... Although I have reviewed this great apartment before, I thought I would comment on my recent trip in September 2013. Eric was, as always, very kind and considerate and made sure that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He really is a great host! The apartment was very clean throughout, comfortable and as you have read previously... More

We were so fortunate to get this place. It was clean, beautifully renovated, and the kitchen was great. Eric took care of everything for us, and the place is located in a great neighbourhood with a great market down the street on the weekends. Thanks Eric!

A consistent patron of BnBs in the US, and with most hotel rooms in Amsterdam booked due to a Cardiologist Conference, Eric's places looked ideal. He didn't have availability at the Canal House, though did at the Jordaan rooms. I was under the impression that I had the room with an ensuite toilet, as I paid 90 euro per night.... More

A great place to stay and Eric is a great host. Looking over the canal with a short walk to the Nine Street area and all its boutiques, cafes and bars - a great location. The flat is lovely, elegant and comfortable with really nice touches that make all the difference - such as the Nespresso machine complete with coffee!... More

Be aware! There are TWO locations of Eric's B&B and several configurations which makes it confusing when you read the reviews and look at pictures. What you see and read and what you get may be entirely different. I know nothing of the Canal House which seems to be everyone's favorite and is the one photographed and featured on the... More
