Hotel is decorated very well, located 5 minute walk from Amsterdam central station. Hotel staff very friendly and speak good English. Beds are good size and very comfortable. Very happy, would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.

Hotel a 5 to 10 minute stroll from Central Station. Again a 10 minute easy walk to red light district, another 10 to Dam Square. Excellent location. Rooms a bit on the small size but what you would expect from a traditional hotel. Rooms had everything you need, excellent shower room, tea/coffee tray, hairdryer, air con. Comfy beds and maid... Very basic hotel but if that is all you need then that is no reason to not stay here. However, when we arrived to check in, the receptionist began making threats about what would happen if we smoked in the room, which I thought was uncalled for. We had a friend meet us in Amsterdam and come into our room... More

Visited hotel mansion in March for boyfriends birthday. 3rd time in Amsterdam and accommodation seemed very full for a mid week 2 night stay. Most expensive I've paid to stay in Amsterdam and have previously been on a weekend. Paid a bit extra for a double deluxe room was definitely worth it. Nice top floor room very spacious with Windows... More

Lovely little hotel, staff really friendly and helpful. As we had a late flight home, the guy at the desk let us leave our bags with him so we didn't have to drag them around all day. Room clean and comfortable, the bed was lovely. Close to the square and centre. Would recommend.

A nice clean & tidy hotel just a 7 minute walk from the train station and around the corner from the hustle & bustle of the city. The hotel does not have a bar but there is one next door open until 3am. Do not worry about it being rowdy as they always play the music low and it is... More

I was in Amsterdam for 3 days in July; and to be honest, this hotel was not my first choice; I booked it because we were running out of options. Coming in from Schipol we took an express train to Central Station and then we had a do-able drag of our luggage east ~ 10 blocks to 123 Prinsehendrickkade. I'm... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
