Myself and my partner stayed at the Belle Vue Hotel for Valentines weekend. The hotel is situated right in the heart of the centre, with everything within walking distance. The rooms are quite small but not uncomfortable. To be honest if your only staying in the City for a few days you dont really need anymore from a room than...

Staff were friendly, helpful and polite, the only downside was the fire alarm going off at 9am monday morning, but that wasn't their fault. The room was modern and spacious although there could be more room between the beds but the beds were comfy and I loved the shower. My friend and I were in a twin room. Its 5mins...

Stayed for 4 nights on business in early February 2010. Had booked a single room via Expedia at the last minute at a very god price (+/- 100$/night) and the receptionist upgraded me to a double without even asking. The Bellevue is a small hotel located across from the train station (extremely convenient) with free wifi (signal strenght is poor...

This hotel is in an excellent location, only a few minutes walk from the train station, very easy to find. I first stayed here two years ago and wondered when booking again for ten people if the rooms would be up to scratch for them but none of us were disappointed, everyone in the group was pleased with the hotel....

Stayed for 2 nights and was very impressed.Room more than adequate for short break. We had no "flooding" problem with shower as we had shower over a bath.Room 507. Daughter stayed in Room 509 which had no bath, but had no problem as shower is really just like a small wet room. Hotel much better than I expected and will...

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in mid November and couldn't believe how conveniently located it was from the train station! The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the Red Light District, Anne Frank House and Jordann area. About a 25 minute walk to the museum district. The room was very spacious, we had plenty of...

Just across the road from central station so perfect location. Tram stops right outside hotel. Large luggage room to store luggage in if arriving too early to check in and to use on day of departure. Room small but clean. Has TV in room which picks up BBC 1. Room was very quiet. Not much storage space but not required...

I stayed at the Bellevue on November 25th & 26th. It's right across the street from Centraal Station. I was greeted by a very polite man who upgraded me to a double room. The room was spotless with a flat screen TV. My only gripe is the shower. There is nowhere to catch water from the shower so the floor...

The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Central Station, so if you are arriving by train from basically anywhere in Europe, you'll basically be dropped off on the doorstep of the hotel. 10-15 minute walk to any of the major sites or attractions in the area (ex. Ann Frank House, Red Light District, etc). Also located near several...

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
