Stayed in this hotel in December great location and rooms clean and comfortable. Enjoyed Amsterdam especially before Christmas but the biggest let down we had was when my wife discovered when we left the hotel and boarded the train for the airport that she had left her book which we had just purchased for 30.00 euros behind in our room....

Stayed for 3 nights in the Ibis styles. The location was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful in helping us find local attractions. The breakfast was disappointing, but it cater for everyone and we can understand that. The free wifi was good, although this went down for a day and was told it would be sorted, but they...

First, ask for as higher floor as possible, second, ask for a room NOT on the station's side. Anyway, you're set. This is a very good hotel with very nice staff. Prime location. 5 minutes walking from Damm square.

the hotel is one of the best I've been worldwide, the hygiene is very good, furniture is new, rooms are a little bit small for couples but still good the staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is good, there is coffee machine working in the lobby 24/7, and free WiFi and you are in the middle of everywhere, the location...

This hotel was great, very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. A great base to explore the city right near central station but very easy walking distance to Dam Square and the red light district. Right from check in to check out this hotel and staff have impressed us and we can not wait to return and stay in...

The hotel is just across the road from the train station, so it is really easy to get to for most. I was a single traveller but booked a double room, i was disappointed to find that the bed was just 2 single beds pushed together with a double size duvet over the top. There wasnt even an attempt to...

It's an Ibis styles hotel. As long as you know what to expect, you can't be disappointed. You get a great deal for the price you pay. Yes, the rooms are bit small, but I expected it to be so. Booked a twin bed room. It was small, but luckily we had a long hallway that gave us room to...

We stayed here for the weekend just gone. Location was on point, close to central Amsterdam. Staff were friendly and good value for money. Breakfast was ok few more English items needed tho. Room was clean enough and check out wasn't til 12 so that was handy. Comfortable beds and our room was a family room which was big enough...

Exactly as the photos show. Clean. Quiet. Modern. Small. Basic breakfast included. Central to everything/everywhere. This was recommended by our travel agent as she had heard it was really good. We had wanted something that we could walk to most everything. There was also the main bus/tour bus stop almost right outside the front door.

This was definitely the smallest room i have ever seen in my life!!! the room is about 9 square meters!!! Nice breakfast but nothing special! the cleaning ladies where cleaning only the basics.. the only good thing is the location other wise it sucks!! i thought i was robbed with their rates !

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
