We stayed in the queen suite, which meant we had the privacy and quiet of our own apartment while enjoying the benefits of a b&b. The suite was perfect and we enjoyed having our breakfast whenever we wanted it as it is all left in your room for you the day before. Servio was really friendly. We loved the location... More

We stayed three nights in the gold suite and it was exceptional. Breakfast is amazing, great variety of meats on different days. A block from two great coffee shops and a very functional residential neighborhood with food, laundries, pharmacy, etc. Servio was a great host and was very attentive to our needs. Ten minute tram ride from the inner city... More

Staying in Amsterdam is not cheap, and after I had read reviews of so many hotels, people normally complained about noise from the street or service quality of the hotel. This B&B isn't hard to find, and it is a short walk from the tram stop. The location is just right, it is located in a quite neighbourhood near Albert... More

This is a lovely B&B in a good place in town. It is on a quieter street, however very close to all of the sights in the south of Amsterdam and there are pubs & restaurants a mere 2 minute walk away. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. There was a slight issue with the WIFI, but... More

We had an amazing stay at Servio's. Very well located near a tram station and the Albert Cuypmarkert, we could reach the town center very quickly. The national museum is 10 mins away on foot. The room was clean, as were the shared facilities (no need to be scared if you got one of the small rooms). The do-it-yourself breakfast... More

Our whole visit was amazing from start to finish. The room was lovely, the hosts were lovely and the facilities were clean and nice. Good location. The cat and the dog are adorable. They roamed freely but of course if you not wanted to have them in your room you could just shut the door or tell the hosts and... More

We stayed in the Gold suite. Wonderful breakfast: croissants and breads, cornflakes, jam, cheese, eggs, salmon, freshly squeezed juice, yoghurt. In fridge the prosecco. The location is great. Easy to get to everything you would want as an Amsterdam visitor

Very well located in the centre of the city, really close to the Albert Cuypmarkert. All rooms are nicely decorated and cozy. Great DIY breakfast. And the hosts, Servio and Alex, make you feel at home during your stay.

Comfortable accommodation in a buzzing district of Amsterdam, on the edge of the city centre - many bars, shops, parks nearby. Sergio and Alex are excellent hosts. Delicious DIY breakfast provided each day. The accommodation is on the third floor of the building, up narrow, steep stairs characteristic of Amsterdam's historic houses.

Staying in De Pijp

Neighborhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
