Overall a pleasant experience. The room was clean and quiet(ish). It was quiet in the night but you can clearly hear the neighbor walking or going to the toilet. Sadly there were some huge nags. We ran out of toilet paper and soap. The shower...More

BB Marnix is a very charming B&B in the centre of Amsterdam city! During the Easter Break, all the hotels/accommodations' price got crazily high. But this place was able to give us a nice comfortable stay without spending too much money. It is a typical...More

On our arrival one of the owners, Richard was there to greet us. He was extremely helpful. It is ideally situated and is within walking distance of all the attractions.

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.

We didn't request any particular view with our room. Partly because it was the last room available to book during the busy season. Didn't think that we had a choice for views really. But the owner is very nice so I'd suggest that you make a call to the BB directly in order to request for what you wish. Good luck!
