When visiting Amsterdam midweek in April my friends and I decided to stay at this hotel/apartment after seeing the lovely photos on booking.com. Whilst the location was brilliant and the lady who greeted us was pleasant and helpful the accommodation looked absolutely nothing like the photo's! The photo's online show a bright, light, modern property with the description stating that...

We spent 2 nights at the House of Amstel and were very pleased with the check in and help. This is not a regular hotel with a desk, but the lady meeting us was great! We just communicated by cell phone. There were 3 of us so it's not easy to find a reasonably priced place in Amsterdam for 3...

we booked a Family Studio with one double bed and an extensible couch for 4 persons, the price for 4 nights was 1,189 Euro but instead of 2 separate rooms we got one room with one double bed and 2 bunk beds and kitchen included :) Location is very good, very close to Rembrandtplein, 10 minutes walk away from Central...

My girlfriend and I had room number 4 on the last floor and I can just recommend it to everyone. The rooms were very stylish and clean, the view was great, and we had our own balcony. The owner, who was a very nice and friendly woman, prepared the room because I told here that I am celebrating our 1 year...

I got to the House of Amstel just because my original reservation in Hotek Toon was cancelled due to an overbooking. My 1st bad experience with booking.com and I advise you not to trust Hotel Toon. The HoA is an apartment building (4 apartments) centrally located and in reasonably good condition. Unfortunatelly I got the one on the groud floor...

We visited amsterdam recently as 2 couples and stayed at this apartment block, we were on the first floor, it's a typical studio apartment which included a queen sized double bed, bunk beds, kitchenette (with a coffee machine), seating area and a shower room/toilet/sink. We were welcomed by a friendly face and shown the room and facilities, she informed us...

The lady who manages the apartments is very nice and laid back. Make sure you have a working phone as we'd been travelling for several days and phones had died so had to charge before we could ring to meet to get the keys. Plates etc weren't the cleanest but the apartment was clean. Very good location with a lovely...

Perfect 3 day stay. Apartment is in a brilliant location to get out and explore. About a 10 minute walk from central station. Apartment is modern and lovely inside with all the amenities you would need. Bathroom is very spacious and clean. Windows looked out onto the Amstel canal which was beautiful to sit at night and watching outside. The...

Details not very clean but the obvious is. But amazing people running it, very helpful and friendly and has everything we need plus more so we will definitely be back next time we're in Amsterdam. Big bonus was the Nespresso machine in the room and the fast and smooth wifi :)
