I have stayed at Sjudoransj once before and was not sure if it was possible to recreate my wonderful first impression on my second visit. It was even better! I was even more impressed on my recent visit of 6 nights: the cosy atmosphere and...More

I stayed at Sjudoransj B&B for 3 nights and it has been my best experience in a bed & breakfast ever! It is located in one of the nicest areas in Amsterdam in a quiet street but around the corner there are great restaurants (including...More

This is a great place to rest your head and in easy walking district of most amenities. If you don't like steep stairs this is not the place for you but that is common in Amsterdam Very friendly host.

When the front door opened and we first saw the steep, narrow steps (27 of them) to get to our room, we almost fainted. No elevators in these old homes. If you're traveling with a lot of luggage... not a good choice. Once settled, Sjudoransj...More

We stayed in the Vermeer room. Sjudoransj is in a nice neighborhood and is built like the small houses in amsterdam so we got to have that wooden house experience. Its managed by Godfrey who lives in the apartment above. He was surprisingly always there...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
