De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.

Loved this hotel. Quirky and fun. Lovely staff. A glass of Prosecco on check in. Denim uniforms / dressing gowns. I made a note it was my birthday and my room was made up with balloons, confetti, a happy birthday note and a few recommendations of things to do. Which was such a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend! :)

Loved the design of this hotel, reception, waiting area, and staff in reception. They were so friendly with our kids, and the sushi restaurant in first floor is amazing. PEOPLE not staying in hotel come here for the sushi;) rented bikes and saw all of town and Van Gogh museum, palace and pancake cafes and channel boating. So much fun!

My daughter and her husband suggested my wife and I stay with them in this boutique hotel which is close to the museums and local market. Our overall impression during our recent visit was that the hotel staff was well trained and offered very good service .The room was clean and well presented although we still prefer the traditional room design. The popular Leidsestraat requires 15-20 mins walk but there is tram service that can take you here. There are many restaurants nearby and the local street market can keep your mornings occupied. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant and cannot comment much, although its Japanese restaurant was popular and busy every evening.

Dear Ariffin K, Thank you for staying with! We are happy that your daughter and husband suggested us for your visit to Amsterdam. The hotel is indeed perfectly situated if you would like to discover Amsterdam, but without all the craziness from the city center. Hopefully we can welcome you back for your next city trip to Amsterdam. Warm regards, Sophie Huisman, General Manager

The rooms are horrible. The bathroom sink is literally at the end of the bed. There is no room to walk around or open a suitcase. The shower and toilet are literally behind black mirrored doors next to the bed. Stay away, far away!
