Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Dear Seanh25, Thank you for your interest in the Andaz Amsterdam. We do have a few garden view rooms with a terrace and our Presidential suite as well. You are allowed to smoke on the terrace as long as you keep the door closed to prevent the smoke from coming inside the room. Please feel free to call us directly at the hotel if your wish to book a room. Kind Regards, he Andaz Team

What do you mean by an open bathroom concept?
The shower room is in the corner of the main bedroom. It is glass fronted albeit the glass is darkened. Within the ‘centre’ of the main room is the washbasin. There are photos on Trip Advisor which show this. The WC is in a separate small room adjacent another small room for storage / safe etc. Quirky but a great hotel.

I'm not familiar with Pulitzer, but my husband and I booked a semi-private canal tour with Leemstar and it was wonderful, plus the pickup and drop off was steps away from the Andaz. I would highly recommend it!
