Once we entered lovely Le Quartier Sonang ( after a long flight) and were greeted by the owners, we immediately realized how fortunate we were to find this fantastic bed and breakfast. So much more enjoyable than staying in a hotel, Oki and Frank greeted us in for a welcome coffee and immediately gave us an orientation to Amsterdam and... More

My Wife and I have traveled all over Europe and we prefer the more personalized stays that you get from owner operated B&B's. Le Quartier Sonang is in the top one or two expeiences that we have ever had in terns of quality, service, location and value. The owners, Frank & Oki, are former hotel managers and are great at... My husband and I stayed at Le Quartier Sonang for two nights following our British isles cruise. Upon arrival at the B&B, we were immediately greeted by hosts and owners Frank and Oki who were so gracious, warm, and friendly. They made us feel right at home right from the start. Frank had all the paperwork ready so within 5... More

One of the highlights of our 3 week visit to the Netherlands was our stay with Oki & Frank at Le Quartier Sonang in Amsterdam. They are situated in a quiet, conveniently located neighborhood with easy walking access to Vondel Park, the Museum Sqaure and the historic district. The room was lovely, light and spacious with a classy modern bathroom... More

We stayed at Le Quartier Sonang in 2015 and loved it so much we returned this year while visiting Amsterdam prior to a cruise. This was a great decision as it was every bit as good as the first time. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom was gorgeous and our balcony overflowed with an abundance of... More

I stayed at Le Quartier Sonang for three nights in June, and I loved the experience. The room was sunny and thoughtfully decorated; the location perfect for museum-goers; the breakfast, the best I've ever had (tailored perfectly to my needs and delivered to my room every morning). Thank you, Oki and Frank!

We picked this based on the reviews when our AirBNB was cancelled on us. Frank and Oki are gracious and attentive. We loved the location being a more residential area out side of the ring of the tourist area. There are a few good restaurants within a 2 minute walk. The beds were fantastically comfortable, we want one for home... More

Our room at Le Quartier Sonang was wonderfully comfortable and spotlessly clean. Okie prepared and brought to our room a delicious, balanced breakfast each morning and insisted on bringing our luggage up and down the short but steep stairs (typical in Dutch buildings). My husband and I found it interesting and relaxing to be staying on a residential street, with... More

We spent a little over a week in a splendid Bed and Breakfast, Le Quartier Sonang. Every morning, we would get a full breakfast, soft boiled eggs, fruit, croissants, bread, cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, and all kinds of jams. We had a coffee maker in our room so we got coffee around the clock. The bed was so comfortable... More

Our only regret is we didn't stay for longer! This is a very well organised B&B and friendly beyond measure. From the time you are greeted by Frank and Oki to the time you leave you feel spoiled and well looked after. These boys share local knowledge, the warmth of their home and all the extra spoils you enjoy whilst... More

‘Le Quartier Sonang’ is a peaceful, quiet townhouse in the most popular district of Amsterdam. The two luxury mini suites at the first floor in this 19th century original townhouse are located in the middle of the museum, fashion and theatre district and only five minutes’ walk from the Canal Ring.
