We picked this based on the reviews when our AirBNB was cancelled on us. Frank and Oki are gracious and attentive. We loved the location being a more residential area out side of the ring of the tourist area. There are a few good restaurants within a 2 minute walk. The beds were fantastically comfortable, we want one for home... More

Our room at Le Quartier Sonang was wonderfully comfortable and spotlessly clean. Okie prepared and brought to our room a delicious, balanced breakfast each morning and insisted on bringing our luggage up and down the short but steep stairs (typical in Dutch buildings). My husband and I found it interesting and relaxing to be staying on a residential street, with... More

We spent a little over a week in a splendid Bed and Breakfast, Le Quartier Sonang. Every morning, we would get a full breakfast, soft boiled eggs, fruit, croissants, bread, cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, and all kinds of jams. We had a coffee maker in our room so we got coffee around the clock. The bed was so comfortable... More

Our only regret is we didn't stay for longer! This is a very well organised B&B and friendly beyond measure. From the time you are greeted by Frank and Oki to the time you leave you feel spoiled and well looked after. These boys share local knowledge, the warmth of their home and all the extra spoils you enjoy whilst... More

It is hard to believe that my husband and I stayed in this lovely townhouse B&B for over a week at the end of April. Time flew, in part because Oki and Frank advised us so well about when and how to visit sites and schedule day trips on our packed agenda. As soon as we arrived, Oki gave us... More

We stayed with Frank and Oki in May 2016 and had a very enjoyable three nights in Amsterdam. The property is located in a residential apartment area in easy walking distance to the city sights and close to a number of shops, restaurants and facilities. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Frank who explained the accommodation, location and some things... More

As first time B&Bers ,we stayed at LeQuartier for 3 nights around May 25. Upon arrival Oki, the owner invited us to go over lots of information about the hotel and also the city over coffee and tea. As mentioned in other reviews, everything in the spacious bedroom is very nice. The view is the backyard of the neighborhood. Bathroom... More

Probably the best B&B we've stayed in - and we travel a lot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great to be welcomed in with a cup of tea by Oki whilst telling us the best places to visit and nice later to meet Frank. Both very very hospitable. The location was great for us as we like being out of... More

Frank and "Mr. Oki" went above and beyond to make sure that our visit to Amsterdam was perfect. I appreciate the care they took to make sure that my allergy issues were not challenged. Through the rest of our time in Europe I never did find another croissant that even came close to the ones we had for breakfast most... More

We had the must pleasant stay with Frank and Oki. They made us felt like in home. I strongly recommend to anyone who wants to have a real Amsterdam "what is like to be an inhabitant" experience to stay at Le Quartier Sonang. Frank is an amazing host, always ready to please and help. And Oki, is the perfect match,... More
