2020 Travelers' Choice Best of the Best
‘Le Quartier Sonang’ is a peaceful, quiet townhouse in the most popular district of Amsterdam. The two luxury mini suites at the first floor in this 19th century original townhouse are located in the middle of the museum, fashion and theatre district and only five minutes’ walk from the Canal Ring. The Canal Ring was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status in 2010 and to this day, the city’s biggest celebrations such as King’s Day and Gay Pride take place on the canals. ‘Le Quartier Sonang’ is a true lifestyle B&B where hospitality does not spring from duty but only from kindness… We look forward to meeting you in the near future...

A warm welcome and very friendly and helpful hosts who helped us make the most out of our stay. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed having breakfast brought to our room. It was great to have a fridge with fresh milk for our morning tea!

This was our third time staying at this perfect B&B. Frank and Oki are the most welcoming, genuine hosts. Full of advice and information about beautiful Amsterdam. The house is in a lovely residential area, only a short walk to the canals and 'nine streets' with some very good local restaurants on your doorstep. Our room, more a mini suite, at the front of the house, was as always, spotlessly clean, tasteful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Without a doubt, we will return to stay at Le Quartier Sonang.

Thank you Oki & Frank for a wonderful stay at your beautiful home. We were met with a very warm welcome which stayed with us for the rest of the stay. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, we slept very well during our stay. Breakfast was perfect and delivered to our room each morning. We hope to stay again next time we are in Amsterdam and would highly recommend Le Quartier Sonang.

We stayed in the room facing a beautiful garden patio. We were welcomed graciously by Frank and Oki who provided us with an informative overview of city highlights & transportation. They toted our huge bags up the stairs and settled us into our spacious & spotless room early. Upon departure, Oki was up at 4 am to help us with our bags & help with the $40 euro taxi to the airport....truly a service above & beyond anywhere else we’ve stayed.
