After a five hour ride on the motorway and some one way Grachten steets later we were relieved to find our hotel. We were lucky to find a public parking spot (EUR 35.- per 24 hours) exactly opposite side of the hotel. After all luggage was in the hotel and the door behind us was closed we immediately felt like... More

Lovely stay, amazing staff, Dutch people are awesome! Location is spotless, right in the middle of everything, the only very small issue was the toilet a bit too small and the breakfast was missing few things from the menu, apart from that it was perfect!

This narrow, tall, hotel has only 9 rooms each on a different half floor. There is no elevator, so you must be able to climb stairs. Each room is a suite decorated with antiques and interesting works of art. The bathroom is luxurious. The bed and linens are excellent. Service is great. There is always a staff person available to... More

Stayed here on the recommendation of a friend and it was so lovely! We stayed in the Shakespeare room - lots or room and charming details. The staff was super nice with lots of tips. The location is perfect near museums and the 9-Streets area. Rent a bike at the hotel for getting around town!

this hotel is not your average 5 star hotel where you get the luxury and best service. this hotel has something beyond. It delivers a truly luxurious and rich feel. the only thing I would be careful about it, is the air conditioning. It was not the best AC system although the weather was nice during our stay. Definitely I... More

Each room of this small hotel is tastefully decorated with antiques without sacrificing comfort. Bathrooms are small, but adequate, however no walk-in shower in our room. Don't open the windows to the front at the Prinsengracht side, noisy partying goes on until 5 am. The backside is quiet. Location is good at a less than 10 minute walk to the... More

Lovely Amsterdam 18 Century townhouse decorated in a very private manner. Old wooden floors in the living rooms, decent colours and "Flamant"-like furnished. Atmosphere asks for a good Whisky or Tea. It's a relaxed place in an easy going town. Service polite and supporting.
