Very clean and atmospheric hotel! Loved every detail in the room, I would like to thank Hisham for the warm welcoming and offering all what we need and ask for! Especially he gave us a place to do PCR test for free instead of paying 80€ anywhere else.

Very well situated and nicely decorated hotel. Polite but minimal staff. It was a pleasure to be upgraded to the large Schubert suite, but decoration seemed less elaborated then some years ago, carpet should really need to be changed, and double glazing in the windows would make the room much less noisy at night. Also, quite annoying that no breakfast (except a small package hung on the door) could be proposed, as well as the need to ring and wait at the front door every time we wanted to come back in the hotel. Overall, only 3 stars because at the price rated we would expect all these details to be better taken care of...

The hotel is located in the canal district which is great location wise if you are visiting the famous museums, which are with in walking distance. The hotel is no way a 5 star rating . We stayed in “room with a view”

From the moment you check in until the moment you leave, the staff really does a great job of making sure you are accommodated and they always make sure you have everything. The location of the hotel is also good because its nearby the center, and anywhere is just a walk away.

My sister and I spent a night here, unexpectedly because we missed a connecting flight, but we were so glad we had the chance to spend this one night in Amsterdam and staying at this very comfortable hotel right in the middle of the city. It was near everything you could ask for and has beautiful rooms so it ticks the location, clealiness, modern room, and affordable boxes!

I stayed 2 night in the beautiful Picasso suite. The suite and the location were perfect. I would like to know which artist is displayed in the room (the 2 small ones with collages). I would be happy to have an answer! Thank you

_Stayed in Suite "Room at the top", which is a generous space with big living room and bathroom _Despite being so centric, the street was quiet and you could not notice any noise in the room _Shower without much pressure _Not so amazing views _Breakfast bag quite average _Comfortable bed and sofas _Very attentive and polite staff _The hotel is very charming and good in many aspects, but some details should be improved to be considered 5-stars

We made a last-minute booking at the 717, and got an almost 50% discount on one of the ground floor rooms. The room was huge (more like an apartment), with a living area facing the front and the bedroom at the back, with windows opening to the patio! Overall, the setup was quaint, typical of a boutique hotel with some heritage to it. Quite charming especially the living room area with windows opening into the canals. We met only two different staff members, one while checking-in and another while checking-out, both of whom were hospitable and helpful. They helped with the check-in, sharing addresses to nearest supermarkets etc., and upon check-out they took care of our luggage even though there wasn't a luggage room. The location is fantastic as well, very central and well-located close to lots of good restaurants and famous shops. While our experience was wonderful, l would be ok paying the discounted price only (€115). This is simply because l am not sure why is this labelled as a 5-star hotel. It's a nice boutique hotel, at best with 4-star facilities. There's no elevator as it's a super old building, there's no parking in the building (you pay an extra of 66 Euros for the nearest parking), and there's no five-star-like ambience per se.
