Enjoyed our stay at 't hotel. A lovely small hotel in a quiet but central location. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice touch was that they put our bags in our room ready for us when he had dropped them off earlier in the day. Our room was a good size with a nice bathroom. We were in room 3 which... More

My sister and I stayed for three nights in October. I've stayed in Amsterdam a number of times but this was the best location by far, almost everything was in walking distance but is is on fabulous tram routes for lazy and wet October days. Very comfortable beds and good bathroom. Breakfast was fine, breakfast room is very nice. We... More

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights in September 2012. We had a nice, large first floor room at the back which overlooks gardens. The stairs are very steep (there is a stannah type chair lift if needed) although we expected this and accept it as part of the character of a traditional canal house. Breakfast is an adequate... Our family of 5 stayed in the 't Hotel for 2 nights in August at the beginning of our European vacation. The "Family Room" where we stayed, was on the 3rd floor of this beautiful, old canal house, so there was definitely some work involved getting to and from our room. It was, however, definitely worth it! This place was... More

We wanted a small canal front hotel, close to all the sights and attractions of Amsterdam, that would offer a good standard of comfort, but not be too expensive. After searching through the multitude of hotels on TripAdvisor we plumped for the 't and weren't disappointed. From the first exchange of emails to book, checking in, to booking out we... More

My husband and I had a long weekend inAmsterdam and stayed in this lovely canal house. The location was perfect and in a beautiful area with lots of fab bars and restaurants. The hotel has very steep stairs and we were on the top floor so it was a climb of 50 steep stairs to our room but this did... More

Great location, 15mins walk from Amsterdam central. Found it easily. On a quieter street and part of Amsterdam. Check in was swift. We had room 6 at the back. Room was clean and tidy, plenty of space. Quiet night sleep was had. Did not try breakfast but the set up looked fine. Would stay again. Friendly staff.

This is a small hotel (8 rooms), needs some modernization, however the location is excellent! we had a room (room 1) with canal view, which I would recommend. The room was clean, not too small, modern flatscreen TV, free wifi. Bathroom has been modernized, and was clean. Breakfast was OK, average. Staff is very friendly. Would stay there again.

The hotel sits on a quiet side canal in the most beautiful and tranquil part of Amsterdam within walking distance of all major sights. The hotel is quite frankly shabby and tired. The rooms are downtrodden although clean. The side of the window frame fell out when we tried to open it. The saddest part is the breakfast room...it looks... More

Dear Mrs. Linda, We are sorry that you felt disappointed by your stay in our hotel. We did the renovation of the hotel rooms and areas in December 2011. All the rooms were painted and refurbished. We also changed the breakfast room, so the old one is no longer in use. We have new breakfast room on ground floor, which... More

This little place has excellent location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent staff. Best value for your money. Amsterdam has two kinds of areas. Area 1: (Train station, Red Light district, brown coffee houses, people who look like they might steal from you) , or area 2 (Jordan district with cafes, great shops and restaurants, close to museums, great people).
