My brother, friend and myself stayed at the flower market hotel in February and was very pleasantly surprised. Booked last minute this was one of the only central hotels available at a reasonable price however we didn't have high expectations due to the pictures and reviews we read online and previous experience of staying in Amsterdam B&Bs. At first glance...

We only stayed in this hotel as it was in a great location and our flight home had been cancelled so we needed somewhere last minute to stay. The room was disgusting, there was no door separating the bathroom and the bedroom, the room stunk of smoke even though it was no smoking, there was a cigarette butt in the...

I only stayed here for 1 night, that was enough. The hotel looks lovely from the outside, and the reception staff were friendly. The room we stayed in was small and basic, but clean as was the bathroom. The location is brilliant as you are central to everything, The major downside to this place is the fact there is a...

Stayed with a boyfriend for 2 nights. Room very basic with no natural light. A lot of mosquitoes in the room and the mosquitier kept falling down during the night. We didn't have a remote for TV in the room either but we got it from reception later on. Overall an OK stay but wouldn't choose this hotel again.

This was my second stay at this hotel, its the perfect location for Amsterdam. Its a quaint building, loved the fact we were staying in a proper canal side house with the steep stairs, it adds to the character. Our room was perfect for the price, the building is very secure with a key fob to open the front door...

Can't fault the staff as all really friendly. Room was filthy, dark and had no natural day light as outside our window was a building. BE WARNED : if you're staying over a weekend then you will be able to hear the constant banging music from the nightclub next door which they don't tell you about!! Won't be staying again....

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel as a couples weekend trip over the new year. We booked it for the location and the canal views. The room we were located was up 4 flights of very very steep stairs, in a tiny room facing the back of the hotel where all we could see was the back of buildings....

The hotel is easy to find, the initial thought was ok, the stairs were quite steep but I believe all hotel are like this. The room itself looks newly renovated, the decor was lovely, and the bathroom looked brand new with a lovely shower. The room was rather dirty, dirt and dust everywhere, balls of hair on the floor. The...

Stayed 2 nights in a triple room overlooking the canal. I was travelling with friends but couldn't help but wonder how nice the hotel would be for couple (on a budget!). Pricing was perfectly reasonable, the room was well renovated, beds super confortable, nice little balcony with a view and great shower. The only downside are the craziest stairs I've...

We stayed at the flower market hotel for about 2 nights and booked the luxury triple room with a canal view. The room itself was very quirky the view was spectacular! it is right next to a night club, however we went from a Sunday to a Wednesday therefore the nightclub wasn't actually operating. the road at the front can...
