Stayed here for 3 nights 23-25th June 2016. Quaint little canal street right in the centre and easily accessible to all areas of amsterdam. The staff were very welcoming and the wifi was good. The hotel stated that it was traditional and was not allowed to be modern but there was a few things that would of improved the stay.... More

We really enjoyed this small and cosy hotel. The location is excellent- in a quiet street with short walking distance to Dam square (10 mins). Bring earplugs though as the walls are thin. Our room was on the third floor, there is no lift - so the hotel is unsuitable for people with walking disabilities. Recommended hotel!

We knew this was a cheap hotel, so we didn't have high expectations. But omg!!! Don't stay here!!! This truly is a hotel of nightmares. Even if you think "well it's just a hotel, we're not gonna stay there much". Don't! You don't wanna even just sleep here. I know it's cheap and central, but it's absolutely disgusting. It will... Great base for a stay in Amsterdam.. :) Friendly & helpful staff, rooms were basic but clean. Perfect location, near red light district and shops/restraunts, in the middle of everything but not mad as it's on a quiet canal street. 24 hour reception & bar. Only complaint I can make is no hairdryer & towels were too small. If you're... More

I stayed here for a few nights on a business trip. When I arrived, I was told the batteries in my room's digital lock had died, so I was given physical key. No problem, except when I put it in the door and tried to turn it, the key's weak metal snapped in half. They put me in a different... More

The staff were amazing. Welcoming and accommodating. The room was basic and the shower needed some tlc, but it was a fab price and in a wonderful location. We had a super holiday and were treated to a bottle of prosecco with breakfast. Thanks Rembrandtplein Hotel x

We received a very warm welcome and all the staff were lovely. They all spoke enough English to get by and were helpful with directions, extra towels etc. The hotel was within easy walking distance from all of the city attractions (approx 20-25 mins stroll from Central Station) and situated on a pretty, small canal. There were some interesting shops... More

Just home from my 6th trip to Amsterdam and really happy with my hotel stay. Very friendly staff & great price. Location was perfect. Booked early and cost me €160 for 3 nights stay valentines weekend 2016. Its a basic room (with your own private bathroom) but comfortable. At reception I could leave some of my cash with them at... Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
