A fantastic site, very well run by re hard working owners who offer so much to their guests. It was busy and the staff were very efficient - treating every guest really well cheerfully answering all the same enquires - very helpful - they go out if their way to make everyone stay as good as possible. The site was...

we spent 3 nights here with our semi-camper. they have places for tents, cars and caravans. you pay extra for shower tokens (0.8 Euro for 5 mins).they also have laundry service which we never used. i don't remember the excact price for staying there, but it was around 20-25 euro per night for 2 persons including electrisity. very friendly and...

Stayed here instead of an Amsterdam hotel as it is so much cheaper and only a short train journey. We are staying in hotels round Europe for 2 weeks so wanted to keep the cost down. On arrival they did not know how long I had booked for and ignored an email I sent asking for a 1 night extension....

First the positives. The check in was quick and easy. They greet you at the gate and take you straight to your pitch and leave you to set up. The location is excellent. It really is a 5 min walk to the metro, the trains are regular, and it is a quick journey in to central Amsterdam. Near the campsite...

We arrived here with great expections as the pictures on the website looked great but as soon as we arrived we began questioning our choice. As we pulled up there was a big queue and we were separated into two groups campervans and cars, the campervan were been let in but all the cars had to wait, we waited in...

This is a family run site. I remember my first visit there when I was backpacking around Europe on Interail. Of all of the sites I visited during that trip this is the only one that I have returned to every year for more years than I care to remember. It is a very clean and beautiful site. it has...

Arrived at Gaasper following a recommendation. Reception staff were helpful and informative. Pitch was much larger than we had expected. We cycled from site into Amsterdam following the map given to us by Reception and also used the public transport system. Would definitely recommend this site as an ideal base for visiting Amsterdam.

It is a very nice and spacious campsite. There are different fields for small tents, big campers and anything in between. I was standing in the field in the middle, close to the playground. Location is also very convenient - close to the city, public transport but also in the middle of the park and the lake. So, location is...

I should have realized that Gassper Camping was a mistake when I saw the 3 meter high steel gates and the car in the parking lot with no wheels and all the windows smashed. And then they refused to open the gate but a car behind me opened it and I drove in om my new BMW motorcycle laden with...
