I only used the room as somewhere to crash at night. The wifi worked, it had a safe and the bed was comfy enough (although maybe a bit slim). Room was a little tired but fine.
Odd smell in the bathroom which I think was the shower drain. I found leaving the fan running at night and keeping the bathroom door closed stopped it coming into the room.
Fresh towels and bin emptied each day.
No TV remote in the room which was a bit odd.
Really thin walls so could hear talking and people coming and going. Obvs this makes it a bit nosier at the weekends than it was in the week.
Handy USB sockets at the bed.
Spotted a couple of ants on the desk but nothing like what other reviews mentioned.

This hotel has absolutely no compassion for customers. Was ready to chuck out three young women onto the street at 1:30 am. The rooms are TINY, the usb chargers do not work, and the shower gets water everywhere. There is also a severe lack of security. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Well it’s a great location .. rooms seem very small , in fairness was clean , but too small , tv on wall none of the channels work . I think I was unlucky with room 118 at end of hotel ,there seems to be garbage or waste from outside from food or something … it’s worst smell ever , like Jeffery dahmer has a dead body down there , so every time you go in and out from door it’s a foul stench .. also my view in room was of 2 rotten extractor fans . It was a hot day like a sauna in there , so window had to be open.

Is easy to get to this hotel from the airport via train and bus. A well-located, affordable hotel - With small clean rooms, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel is very close to the Tram station which makes it very accessible at any time and is not far to walk to other parts of town. There's also a supermart just across the road and many restaurants in the area. All went well for us.

Excellent stay. At first, I was disappointed when I arrived; some of the photos did not appear yo be from the hotel.
We stayed 3 nights and couldn't have had a better stay.
The hotel is just a short bus journey from the airport (1 bus) and a tram ride away from the centre (1 tram ... the 2 or the twelve). Both bus and tram stops are a short 2 minute walk from the hotel.
The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly when we arrived. In reception there is a map which tells you all the tram routes... very helpful!!
We were on the top floor... a crazy lift took us there. Added to the quirkiness of thr place. Towels were changed every day. The hotel beds were comfy and a TV with English channels.
After staying nearly the 3 days, we noticed the Chinese restaurant next door was connected and this is where some of the photos have been taken from.
Would definitely recommend the chimney cake cafe just up from the hotel and Small Talk restaurant.
All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely be back.

Spent 3 nights here with low expectations having seen the reviews after I booked. The reality was a hotel that was brilliantly situated as a base to explore, and that was significantly more comfortable than expected. We had a bunk room with 4 bunks around the walls and two singles together in the middle making a decent size bed.
The bed was comfortable and the room clean with fresh towels provided daily. Some kind of ventilation duct was outside the external balcony doors and a couple of times the noise from it was slightly intrusive.
Aside from this, and it was a small inconvenience, it was a positive experience and I'd stay there again.

Everything about this so called Hotel is disgusting.
None of the facilities listed on the website exist, I mean none!
Room was filthy and mouldy.
Carpet in the bedroom was soaked from the overflow of water from the shower.
Bathroom was tiny and the smell of sewage was overwhelming.
Staff unhelpful and offer us another room which was just as bad.
More like a hostel and not a hotel
Filthy Disgusting Avoid at all costs

Flights were canclled due to covid and the hotel kept every penny. I'm not rating the hotel, I'm rating the service and staff. They didn't accept that covid was a good enough reason to not say and kept all £350 for my holiday that never happened. I wouldn't want to stay at a hotel that treat their new guests like this,

Easy to get to by bus 397 from airport. Get off at Concertgebouw and walk around the building to get to hotel.

Very well located, with lots of tourist spots within walking distance. Supermarket is across the main road which is open from 8am-10pm.

Very friendly welcome from staff and help given when requested eg finding a sports bar for the football!!

WiFi worked and were given a remote with our room keycards for the tv.

Room was clean, shower worked well and handwash/shower gel attached to wall. Fresh towels and bin emptied every day. It was very hot but we just opened the window, when in the room.

Room is very small with bunk bed, table and private shower room but we only used it to sleep so it did us fine. 6 sockets and handy usb sockets beside both bunk beds.

Really thin walls and some disrespectful guests who made a racket til the early hours.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

A budget, clean hotel.
I was in the reception area for a good few hours waiting for my transport, and Ying behind the help desk was extremely friendly and helpful to all customers. Great asset to the company, thanks Ying!

Not sure about the rooms, mine was a twin room but small. I think there was a hairdryer in the bathroom, but not 100% on that. Sorry.

I don't think we ever walked the full way but the number 5 tram takes you to the centre and then it's about a 10 minute walk from there.

Hello, If this is still current and interested in you ... Number of bus lines: 197. You can find the information requested on the operator's website (connexxion.nl/amsterdam-airport-express). There is very good help in designing a personal program at the website of the visitacity. You specify when and how many days you want to spend in Amsterdam and they will give you a detailed program proposal. I also planned on the based on the website's proposal and felt very good!
