From hospitable welcome to kindly valedictory, everthing was perfect in the service. additionally location is behind of Dam Square and everywhere is very nearly. to be honestly, my expectation was a standart comfort and service but it is really 5 stars quality.

I am writing this review after my 2nd stay. Both stays were simply perfect. I traveled solo and my single room on the 2nd floor (I actually quite enjoyed the stairs) was perfectly adequate space wise and clean - great bed, plenty of hot water in the shower (and good pressure), and enough space to sit at the desk. The... More

The only thing I can complain about is that the electronic lock didn't work properly on the first night for some reason. Everything else was great: excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, and a comfortable and clean room/bed/bathroom.

Having dragged all of my luggage from the station to the hotel, I was slightly shocked to see the absolutely insane staircase leading up to reception, but Ahmed immediately came down and carried my bag up for me! You wouldn't think it from the street view but the hotel really is lovely and service is the best I have had... More

Can I just move in? Seriously! Minus the super long stairs, which are actually part of its character, this is a perfect place to stay in Amsterdam. It's in a great location in my opinion, there's transit right down the street, and within walking distance of a lot of places. First impression was this place is so comforting, feels like... More

Great budget hotel. My single room was quite tiny -- I could almost touch both walls if I extended my arms -- but clean and comfortable. Good hot shower. As others have said, clean, great location, well organized. What sets them apart is their excellent customer service. The front desk person spent loads of time with me helping me work... More

Friendly and helpful staff, carrying the luggage up the many stairs to the lobby and the rooms. Delicious breakfast, two lovely cats in the lobby, friendly atmosphere in the house. The place is easy to find within short walking distance to the central station and the city centre.

Just got back from a 2 night stay at this lovely hotel. I couldn't fault it, the staff were so helpful an pleasant. The location is perfect for exploring the city. Only downside were the stairs but to be expected for Amsterdam. The room was clean and not too noisy like other reviews have said. The bed was super comfortable.

At your arrival, you are a bit surprised by the 37 steps to reach the lobby, but at the end you discover a lovely place, clean, modern, classy with a friendly welcome. The rooms are quite small but, once again, very clean. A perfect place to stay for a visit of the city.

Everything was OK. The personal was very kind, the place was very clean, the breakfast is great . Of course everything is Amsterdam-scale: the rooms are small and the stairs are smaller; anyway, you would easily count with the help of the personal to move your luggage.
