We were 3 nights at the Clemens Hotel in August. Really enjoyed our stay there, we had a comfortable room on the street side -- nice views and no problem with street noise. Great staff was very helpful and acommodating. We were on the 3rd floor, so did have to climb steep stairs (73!) each day. But staff helped us... More

For a start the hotel was really well located, direct tram from Centraal and sandwiched between the '9 Streets' area to the south and Jardaan to the north. Perfectly clean and well decorated. Breakfast area was roomy, great decoration with fresh flowers on the balcony and the breakfasts themselves were just what you'd expect with loads of choice. Everyone that... More

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Jeffrey who promptly carried our luggage upstairs (there is no elevator). He invited us to have a seat and get comfortable and even offered us a beverage while he checked us in. He was the most friendly person ever! The lobby was warm and comfortable and had a balcony with a lovely view.... More

We stayed at the Clemens Hotel for three nights. It is in a great location but on a busy street. As mentioned in other reviews there are a number of narrow stairs to navigate. We had almost 80 to our room. The rooms are small. Having said that these potential negatives are compensated for by a more than reasonable price,... More

This hotel is very well located in Amsterdam. On the negative access is via a narrow steep staircase & rooms are very compact BUT staff very helpful and friendly & helped with bags, room spotlessly clean. Bathroom small but excellent shower. Included continental breakfast very good - great choices.

Fantastic location close to restaurants in Jordaan. Very clean and nice rooms. Free Wifi, but of somewhat variable quality. Breakfast was included and very good. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Very steep staircase at the entrance.

I had a single room facing a tranquil quiet courtyard for 3 nights. Not sure if it would be that quiet for the front facing rooms though, as the hotel is located on a busy street. Room was very clean and cosy. Lovely free breakfast and very helpful staff. Great value!

Spent one night in the hotel. Fantastic staff, the room was very clean, and the shower was awesome. Breakfast was very good, lots of selection with good coffee. Will definitely go back. Great location central to site seeing, Red Light District.
