Easy to get to via trams. Great location to all sights and areas. Nice breakfast and great dining area. Friendly staff. Room small but what you would expect in Europe. Beware the stairs upon entry if you have difficulty with very steep stairs.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. It was close to all the restaurants, shopping and activities we did in Amsterdam. The staff made us feel like family and were more than happy to bend over backwards for our every need. The breakfast was delicious and there were many foods to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel...

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Clemens! We would definitely recommend this hotel. It is in a great, central area. The people who work there are very nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Yes, there are stairs, but we didn't let that stop us. In fact, we loved the challenge! Our room was very comfortable! It...

Very kind people at the reception. The hotel is in a perfect location for tourism, close to the main train station, city center, shops... Also well situated for a walk to the most important museums. Nice rooms, not huge but big enough a quality rest. Clean bathroom and a great breakfast service. For sure I will repeat in my future...

Cosy family run hotel in the heart of Amsterdam ! Easy access to channels, sightseeing & shopping ! Clean, nice and excellent breakfast ! Super service and atmosphere ! Many narrow stairs to climb from street level to reach reception and even more to reach the rooms !

We stayed here two nights-one at the start of our trip and one at the end. We were three couples on our way to a barge trip in Belgium. The hotel is beautiful-very clean with s great breakfast. But the best part is the staff-they are so nice and very helpful. We had to leave early both mornings and they...

The hotel is perfectly placed, near public transports and museum. The staff is very nice and help you in any occasion. I do agree, stairs are hard and room small but it reflect typical dutch house. They always helped us to carry our luggage up or down stairs. All is very clean.

Right in the centre (say 100m from the Dam) but my single room perfectly quiet; even slept with the window open. There is a nice public lounge area where I occasionally had a coffee or a beer. A big asset is the warmth of the welcome. For example after I had left my luggage after checking out and then came...

I was very undecided in giving 3 or 4 stars, for me it's a 3,5 considering it's a 2 star hotel and the location: The Good 1 - Location, Location, Location, it's near everything, Anne Frank house is just across the street, the dam square also within 5 minute walk, in 15 minutes you get to red light and in...

Loved the clemens. It's a couple of blocks away from the Ann Frank house and a short walk to centraal station and the Jordaan. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped with everything we needed. The staircase was intimidating upon arrival but the staff quickly grabbed our bags for us. I will definitely be back here.
