If Amsterdam is the cherry on the dessert of a European vacation, Hotel Keizershof is the heartbeat. Located on the canal in the historical district of Amsterdam, this 1600s hotel is beautiful, cozy, comfortable, and full of charm. Family owned and run since 1958, Mary and her son, both excellent English speakers, couldn't be more friendly, helpful - - true...

The hotel has a upmarket Bed & Breakfast feel to it and that adds to it`s charm and character. it is on 3 floors so if you don`t like climbing stairs it can be off putting but you can request the first floor if you want. Breakfast is served on a communal table and is a great way to meet...

My husband and I were very pleased to return a second time to Hotel Keizershof, a lovely and well cared for 17th century canal-house. Keizershof is well located and affordable and with the most warm and friendly hospitality offered by the de Vries family, Mary, Hanneke and Ernst. As in our first time stay (last time with our daughter) we...

The location is great and the owners are special. So centrally located to all the attractions and quite affordable we were able to walk to most in just a few minutes. including the laundry that did a weeks load of washing and folding for the three of us for 12 euro. The perfect location and delightful owners. While the building is four hundred year old the faculties are very comfortable and beautifully maintained. It's on the canal and unpretentiously European. Fly to Amsterdam, take quick train into town then either walk twenty-five minutes or take a tram. Every recommendation for every restaurant was detailed and perfect.

I will definitely be staying here again. The location is perfect. Close to the Rijksmuseum, and the Concertgebouw, and many great restaurants. The staff are incredibly kind and wonderful people, and the rooms are very large, especially for Amsterdam! Also, the breakfast is unbeatable. I'm going to dream about those breakfasts for a while!

I celebrated my birthday at the hotel and they decorated the breakfast room for the occasion, which was a nice surprise. The bed was...

On our first trip to Amsterdam, we were fortunate to find Hotel Keizershof. It is located in a very convenient location within easy walking distance to the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. In fact we walked everywhere from this hotel. The hotel sits on a quiet canal street with plenty of restaurants close by. The owner, Marie, is a...

First time to Europe and a great start. Family owned operation. Mary, Hanneke, and Ernst were extremely friendly and most helpful in giving directions and advice. The homemade breakfasts were a real treat. Rooms were very comfortable and extremely clean. Built in the 1600's, so tons of history. Good view of the garden courtyard. Access to the third floor rooms,...
