We came to the Netherlands specifically to pick up a new puppy and spent 4 nights at this hotel before bringing him home to Canada.
This is a dog friendly hotel with a difference - our very own courtyard that we could stroll out to...More
Very Nice hotel. Room was a little small but very clean. The hotel is conveniently located near local restaurants and pubs and public transportation. The only challenge for me was getting our suitcases up to our second floor room. The staircase is somewhat steep and...More
Hotel was in a really nice location by the park and close enough to walk everywhere. We had a room downstairs which didn’t get much light but had everything needed. Including a small patio garden. Staff were friendly.
Really nice hotel. Hotel room was lovely. Very nice staff to deal with. Easy to get to from central station also. Only thing to note is that the stairs are quite steep and there's no elevator, but would highly recommend it.
We were on the top floor and really loved the lighting from the overhead windows. The room was a little warm for us since heat rises, but the sunshine streamed in and it was worth it. There were also two fans in the rooms which...More
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
