We have made a booking and for emergency reason had to cancel it in 4 minutes. And by emergency I mean a family member in the hospital. The manager, who I called and tried to reason with was extremely rude and so non-understanding. Rules are obviously important but life is full unpleasant surprise and exceptions.I think I never spoke to... More

We used the hostel part of the hotel and overall it was a good experience. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. It was a bit cramped for 10 people, but they had an extra sink in the room which was nice. It is located right next to the tram stop as well and was decently priced. It doesn't have a... More

A friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and admittingly i was apprehensive coming to a hostel but Euphemia hotel surprised me! From the moment we came in staff were extremely helpful, friendly and approachable. All the other guests were warm and welcoming, helped us with our suitcases and chatted to us. We had a private double bedroom and... More

The hostel common area closes early at 11pm and there is no guest kitchen, making it difficult to meet other travellers. The hostel rooms were very basic and I noticed that the rooms were not cleaned everyday - and a bathroom shared by ten people gets dirty fast. The city centre was about a 20 minute walk away and the... More

Euphemia is actually a monastery converted to a hotel. Stay here was ok. Very basic, but clean and neat rooms. I stayed in a 4 in 1 dorm with a private bathroom. Beds were comfy and bathroom was tiny but clean. Breakfast is provided against payment of 5-8 Euros. It's better to skip breakfast at the hotel, since it's over... More

i did a trip with eight friends to amsterdam. The hostel was cheap but very very nice. The room was a 10 bed room and really clean. The staff were also pretty friendly and helpful. We have got different recommendations for amsterdam as well. Nice hotel to recommend.

Very good location 10 minutes walk to Dam Square. The hostel itself is a little small and not much room in the bedroom, their is not much of a chill out room to meet people. Its reasonably priced for Amsterdam and the staff are kind and helpful.

Positives: location, cleanliness, price and the professionalism and friendliness of Receptionist (Macarena). Points to improve: Rooms must be renovated and updated. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Me and 2 friends of mine stayed there for 3 nights. The lady in the reception desk was really nice. But rooms were cold. Significantly cold. And after going outside all day long and coming back to hostel at late hour we found radiators turned off. We had breakfast there and it was nice. Location is just across to Heineken... More
