Fine family hotel with perfect central location, however with almost perpendicular staircase. The personal is friendly. The room is warm and clean with opening windows. Entrance from the street is closed and needs the same electronic key that room has. The food store 3 minutes walk. Good choice for budjet traveling.

My room was a sky blue - white themed room with a queen bed at the back on the 4th floor. Adequate size for two people though I expected it to be bigger. Bathroom was clean with no bath tub. It probably wasn't noisy as rooms facing the front, but on New Year's Eve there was fireworks noise all over... More

Great staff, great rooms, great service, great location. A big problem I faced in European hotels - the temperature in the rooms! It was about 0 degrees, like in the street. This hotel, on the contrary, proved, that it may stay comfortable in the room. The temperatute doesn't depend on the streets temperatute. Look forward to visiting this hotel again!

I strongly support everyone to stay there. The staff is polite and friendly, the rooms really exceptionally decorated and spacious (which is not common in Amsterdam). The hotel is located in the center from where you can come and go on foot or by tram and enjoy the rest of the city. I stayed there 4 days from 27-11-2014/30/11/2014. Be... More

It was a perfect weekend getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The place is ideally situated in the centre of the City. The room was comfortable, clean and most importantly warm. I will be checking for rooms here the next time I am travelling to Amsterdam... without a doubt.

We knew from the outset that this centrally located hotel was, well, in the middle of the "night scene of bars and restaurants" and we knew in advance we were to expect some noise at times. It is important to do research beforehand, so you know what you are booking into. We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel, the... More

We wern't expecting much from this hotel when we booked it as we know that Amsterdam buildings are old and have steep stairs with no elevators. The stairs in this hotel are at least wide enough to make it easier. Good: * Central and convenient location. * Clean and comfortable room. * Friendly staff. * Very quick WiFi. Not so... More

Great location right by rembrandt square where lots of nightlife and restaurants. steps away from tram that takes you everywhere. good clean room with a great shower. yes you do have steps but so do many other amsterdam hotels, its just the way the city is. i was satisfied just for the location and free wi fi.

This has been my first time in Amsterdam. I am a well-seasoned traveler so I was not surprised at some of the aspects of this hotel. Yes, the stairs are steep an there is no elevator. This is normal for Amsterdam. One drawback that I, luckily, did not experience was the noise from the square opposite the property. The hash... More

Spent a few hours here with a friend who was visiting Amsterdam. It has windows facing one of the busiest entertainment areas in Amsterdam, Rembrandtplein. On a hot day, you have the choice of sweating like crazy and some noise from outside, or open the window and have deafening noise from outside. There is a fan, but in the bedroom... More
